Judd Gregg whacked on national talk radio program

Judd Gregg

Famous Judd Gregg notepad– Gracing many a political banquet place-setting since 1993.

While out on an errand this morning I caught some of Laura Ingraham’s radio program on the XM. As I’m driving along. all of a sudden, WHAM! She takes a shot at our outgoing senior Senator, Judd Gregg regarding the debate over nationalized health care.

While noting the collapsing economy, and the start of some pushback over the prospects of radically overhauling our health care system at this particular time — thanks to some real numbers finally dawning on some people– Laura noted that the best thing at this point is to let the Dems own the thing. Once people get a load of what health care "reform" will do to them, they will most likely run from the Democrats in droves– right into the welcoming arms of the awaiting Republicans come November 2010. But, more importantly, there’s a chance to kill the idea dead if we play our cards right. Some Dems are getting nervous and might not go along. Perhaps if there are enough, and all of the Republicans hang tough, it can happen… unless some squish comes along and helps craft a deal to make the thing happen. Enter Judd Gregg

Apparently, there must have been some recent scuttlebut involving Gregg and his penchant for "compromising" with the liberal party on this to earn the slap from Laura, who admonished him and others of his ilk:

Don’t go down that road with them. Let them implode!

Sadly, we’ve come to know that if there’s one thing about Judd Gregg, he’s always looking for some "compromise" with those who would destroy our financial well-being and freedom. Everyone’s nervous about where he’ll be on cap and trade, and so worried about where he’ll fall on nationalizing health care that his office iis included to be among those to be protested as part of the July 17th anti-national healthcare Tea Parties (No doubt we won’t see the always elusive senator in person… maybe his staffers can dish out some leftover green notepads instead– as usual).

Darn it all. Why can’t we have somebody good that we can trust on the important issues of the day, anymore? I’m sick of this crap. When Juddzo leaves, we MUST put somebody better in there– more reliable. As I’ve said before, will SOMEBODY tell Judd to cool it, already? Sheesh! This is why Kelly Ayotte makes me so nervous…
