UPDATE!!

The ‘Grok received a call late tonight from Jeb Bradley who is asking whomever is responsible for the website, bathroombud.com, to please take it down.  I can assure our readers that neither Doug nor I have anything to do with that site in any manner, shape, or form. That said, we are willing to get the word out from Jeb for the site owners / designers to please take the site down.

While I predicted some time back that the race for the open District 3 Senate seat would be one to watch, little did I know how truly "hot" the contest would turn out to be. Regular readers know that since the time when he officially threw his hat in the ring, it has been discovered the Democratic candidate not only talks the liberal talk, but has long put his money where his mouth is– especially when it comes to matters of social decency. You see, while sitting on the NH Bench, Judge Willard "Bud" Martin showed little regard for victims involving bathroom perverts in at least two separate occasions.

These revelations have left the campaign in apparent disarray… to the point where the campaign manager (with some distatsteful baggage of his own) is barred from speaking to the media, and the candidate himself has been tagged with a new nickname that seems to be catching on: "Bathroom Bud." And, in a strange twist of fate, the Democrats in Concord have been wrapped up in dealing with the so-called "bathroom bill" (AKA the "Pervert Protection Act"), thus adding even more meaning and impact to the nickname. In addition to what has been written here on the ‘Grok and elsewhere on the ‘Net, "Bathroom Bud" has begun to appear in letters to the editor as well, with a great one in yesterday’s Citizen (Laconia).

Heh, well guess what? It’s now gone even farther, in that someone has started a whole website based on Martin’s rulings, and is offering a $500 cash prize for those wishing to join the "fun"…

www.bathroombud.com

That’s right– visitors at www.bathroombud.com are invited to submit their best

flyer, poster, hand-out, or mail design based on the two "bathroom" rulings by Judge Bud Martin.

Adding to the excitement is some additional interactivity:

Submissions will be voted on by visitors to BathroomBud.com

Poor bud– as I said in the post below, he just can’t get any respect these days. I’d say that, while it may have taken some time, he is getting a just come-uppance for what he did to the victims of perverted crimes while serving as a Judge here in Belknap County. The only thing left to do (after submitting an entry for the $500 prize) is to send him home packing on the April 21st election day. There’s enough loons down in Concord these days– we don’t need any more– especially Bathroom Bud!
