Defend NH’s “Taxpayer Pledge” Tuesday at 10am!

Last week we posted that New Hampshire’s Republican Party needs more good people like Grant Bosse, candidate for the 2nd CD seat. It only figures that he would be the first leading figure ahead of the rest of the pack to step forward and take the most important stand a politician can take in affirming NH’s famed "Taxpayer Pledge".

This Tuesday, following a press conference in the lobby of the Statehouse LOB at 10 am, Grant Bosse has asked that representatives from the present keepers of the pledge, the Coalition of NH Taxpayers, accept his signed copy. According to a comment placed on this prior post,

[H]e invites any other candidate to come and join him in taking the ATR and the CNHT Pledge at the same time, publicly with him on of all days, tax day, April 15th at 10 AM.

Given the publicity the anti-pledge campaign and its well-financed front organization, the Granite State Fair Tax Coalition, has been getting in all the media lately, this seems to me to be a great way for those who still care to respond in a very meaningful way:

Sign the thing!

No matter what, nobody can ever prevent a candidate from taking a campaign pledge. If it were so, we would have bigger problems than just taxes…

A copy of the Pledge is here to download so that you can bring it with you to the statehouse. What better way to "celebrate" April 15th?

These are the kinds of great ideas that good leaders and politicians should be encouraged to continue to come up with if we are to begin to stem the tide of goverment’s ever-growing onslaught on our wallets, and by extension, our liberty. Thanks Grant! GraniteGrok will be on the scene, camera in hand. Hopefully we’ll find plenty of good people to watch and talk to as we all work to defend our pledge and  the New Hampshire Advantage it protects and preserves…
