Sorry ma’am, no can do. You know, crystal meth and all that… Oh– you want to kill your baby? Why didn’t you say so? Come on in!

Dayquilpartial birth abortion

                         Bad.                                                         Good.

We just got a call from our 19 year old daughter– a student at BU. Seems she’s got a cold and wanted to take  something for it. She did what her mother used to do as needed– headed out to CVS to get some remedy– in this case, Dayquil. No problem, right? WRONG!!!

One of the nice things about living in the city is that you don’t need a car. Such is the case with our daughter– we bought her a semester-long MBTA commuter pass, and she’s good to go. Well, when you have no car, and possess a photo-student ID, why would you need your drivers’ license? I’ll tell you why…

To buy an effin’ bottle of Dayquil, that’s why!

Yep. She went to CVS today to get Dayquil, and without a drivers’ license in hand, and despite having her BU-issued photo ID, she could not purchase Dayquil.

This is what pisses me off about the society we live in today: If she was a middle school student here in NH, say, 14 years old, she could have an abortion, and nobody, ESPECIALLY her parents, would have to be consulted or anything. Just waltz in, undoubtedly accompanied by a "teacher" or other friendly "caring" social worker type– perhaps working for the government– and they’ll murder the baby on the spot. Buy some over the counter cold remedy to ease a few sniffles…

NO EFFIN’ WAY!

Is it me, or is there something seriously wrong with our society?
