Last week, Skip and I had the opportunity to travel along with Republican presidential candidate John McCain as he and his "No Surrender Tour" made its way across the Granite State. Whether he’s your guy or not, his efforts to raise the sagging public support needed to sustain and finish the war in the Iraqi front of the new world war deserves our appreciation.

When talking about having access to a political candidate for some real one on one, nobody holds a candle, at this point, to Senator McCain. How could you get any closer, or have a greater opportunity to engage with a would-be president? Check out this video sampler of our bus trip with John McCain. In one part, he acknowledges being with “bloggers” on the bus, with video running. That’s us. This guy seems to genuinely appreciate the Blogging community. As you watch, keep in mind that it’s about four minutes of film taken from about an hour’s worth taken during our ride. It is but a small representation of the amount of open and free talk that we had with the Senator.

Pretty cool, eh? This was the same trip we did the Woolsey interview, which can be found by clicking here. He rode in the bus with us, too.
