Strike a check in the win column for those in favor of taxation WITH representation. The NH House Wednesday correctly killed (well, at least tabled) Senate Bill 88. This nefarious piece of public-employee rump-swabbery should have never seen the light of day. As I noted in this previous posting on the subject, this law would have permitted bargaining units (unionization) of as few as three workers and an "evergreen" clause that would allow for automatic raises even in the absence of an approved contract– even one voted down by the citizens– allowing de facto taxation without representation.

Hopefully this sop to the public sector labor unions that are killing the Granite State through the death of a thousand cuts will never see the light of day again…
