SHEA-PORTER’S HYPOCRISY

In response to criticism by NH GOP Chair Fergus Cullen to her vapid Davy Crockett speech, Carol Shea-Porter had this to say:  "If Fergus Cullen has the courage of his convictions, he should go enlist, because they’re having trouble meeting their quota. He’s young, he’s single and he’s healthy. If he needs to know where the recruiters are, call me."

While a statement like this is red meat to Carol’s far-left base, it isn’t a response.  It is an attempt to stifle free speech.  A lesson in civics is needed, Congresswoman — Every American has a right to opine on issues of national defense and foreign policy.

Further, it should be noted that Carol is being hypocritical.  It is quite OK with Carol for those with no military experience to OPPOSE the Iraq War –for example, the protesters Carol famously served apple cider and, of course, Carol.
