Meet Melissa Shohet – OFA Ballot Box Stuffer and Transient Voter

If you thnk lrtting proplr from out of state Vote in NH if OK youre Gonna have a bad timeYou might not be at all surprised to learn that Daniel Barluschke was registered and voted (as a Democrat) from New Hampshire Democrat Mille Knudson’s home on 93 Noons Quarry Road in Milford, NH in the 2008 general election.  [Knudson (D-Milford) was actually running for the NH House while Daniel was voting from her home.

Daniel hails from Berlin Germany but went to college at McGill University in Canada and spends most of his time on foreign soil, though he did spend his time in New Hampshire working for Obama For America (and voting from Milli’s home).   He left in 2008 and came back in 2012, still with OFA, but he didn’t necessarily come alone.

Melissa Shohet may or may not know Daniel Barluschke but she also went to McGill University in Canada.

Rally In Support of Medicaid Expansion in NH – Where Is Everyone?

progress now rally
15 minutes into the Progress Now Rally at the State House

Minnesota based Granite State Progress got a permit to hold a rally yesterday at 11am out in front of the New Hampshire state house.   The purpose of the rally was to show support for Medicaid expansion in the Granite State.

Yesterday was the public hearing on the issue ( which I wrote about here).  The expansion is a bad idea but it is one progressives want and while turnout for the hearing was good there does not appear to have been any turnout at all for the rally.

Harvard Study: Would Banning Guns Reduce Murder and Suicide?

Would_banning_firearms_reduce_murder_and_suicide?Gun Rights win

That is the title (link takes you to the 46 pg PDF) of a Harvard study that looked at violent crime, murder and suicide, in various nations, based on the prevalence of guns and gun owners.  As is typical of the white tower, researches who actually look at the data are surprised by the results.  There is no correlation and in fact, places where more citizens are legally able to own firearms have less murder and suicide.

Martha’s Motel Still not Out Of The Woods

I dont always vote in NH but when I do I live at Martha Fuller Clarks HouseDemocrat Senator Martha Fuller Clark is NOT off the hook and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office, under the ever watchful eye of another New Hampshire Democrat, can make all the consoling statements it wants, Fuller-Clark facilitated the ability of out of state entities to erase your vote.

Consider…

Bryan Gregory Griffith lives in Arkansas but was registered to vote at Martha’s Motel.  When the November election came along he could have voted in either state.  We’ve already established that this creates a constitutionally questionable circumstance.

You can’t vote or claim domicile in Arkansas while living here, and according to Arkansas law, Griffith can’t vote in New Hampshire without abandoning his right of domicile in Arkansas, which I’m quite certain the lawyer from Arkansas has not done.   Something else Bry-Bry didn’t do, vote absentee in Arkansas.  But he did vote absentee in New Hampshire, and Martha Fuller Clark didn’t do a thing to prevent it, probably because Griffith is a Democrat, from another state, not staying in her home when he voted ‘absentee’ from her home, and was voting for her and her parties candidates, and she was certain she could get away with it.

Thanks to the NH AG, she just did.

About The Looming Government Shutdown…

DoE Money pit - Obama and Duncan keep shoveling it into the bottomless holeWhen the deficit was 9.x trillion, and we were spending a lot less than a trillion per year on the budget (back in the less than halcyon days when we not only had a budgt but had to have a budget), Democrats were whining about expensive wars and the burden we were putting on working families and our kids.

I realize that after seven years of Democrats more or less owning congress and five years with Obama as President, working and family have taken on a new meaning.  One is a racist term and the other bigoted.  But still, we hear about these mystical working families that Democrats claim to be defending…from working and being a family, is all I can figure.

Where was I?  Budgets, deficits, spending… oh my…

TV Show Idea

When the entertainment idea-people run out of ideas you should expect the worst.  Continuity goes out the window.  Back-story and history are re-translated to fit the new world order–is that suspension of suspension of disbelief?  Some examples of this in the cartoon world include  Muppet Babies, The Flintstones Kids, Baby Looney Tunes, and other “little … Read more

Too Good Not to Post – “Last Thursday I Lied”

Public Hearing on Medicaid Expansion In NH Today – What You Need to Know

It is not about state spending, Healthy states are about libertyNew Hampshire should not expand Medicaid. Hospitals will lose hundreds of millions of dollars and Taxpayers will be burdened with billions in unfunded mandates.  At least that is what the results of the NH Department of Health and Human Services own study determined.

…an analysis from the Lewin Group, a prominent health care consulting firm, finds that if New Hampshire expands Medicaid, Granite State hospitals will actually lose $228 million in revenue over the next seven years.

and…

While expanding Medicaid will cost New Hampshire billions of dollars in unfunded liabilities, the expansion would only reduce the number of uninsured individuals in the state by 22,300. A larger number would be moved out of higher-quality, private insurance, and into the dysfunctional Medicaid program.

This is from an analysis of the NH DHHS study.  It is how they are supposed to base their own consideration.   Easy enough.  Not right for New Hampshire.

Lenco BEARCAT is up for discussion in Concord again

Activism is increasing, leading up to the Concord City Council BEARCAT vote on Mon Sept 9th.

You may be thinking, “this is Concord, what do I care?” – but this is more than just about Concord – this is about the type of New Hampshire we want to preserve for our children and a chance to push back at the growing, dangerous militarization of Police in our State and Country (courtesy of the Federal Government). The pot is boiling, folks…

You have two options to help in the push-back:

  • Come to the Concord School Board meeting tomorrow night Wed Aug 28th 5:30pm, where the Board will discuss their City Council letter of support or opposition to the Vehicle. Initially, they wanted to make this meeting a “private”, “non-public” meeting, so they could discuss their opinion on the BEARCAT away from the public: Facebook Event
  • Come to the Concord City Council meeting on Monday, Sept 9th 6:00pm, where they plan to vote on receiving the Federal funds to purchase the Police Assault Vehicle: Facebook Event

Note: The first item below took place yesterday. Over 400 petition signatures were collected over the weekend, in opposition to the BEARCAT.

  • This weekend’s BearCat petition drive was a success. We will be submitting the signatures to City at a press conference this afternoon (Monday August 26th) at 3:45 PM in front of City Council Chambers (41 Green Street, Concord). All are welcome to join us.

A Collection of Recent Hate-Crime Hoaxes

hoax keyboard Hate crime hoaxesOver at Conservative Intel, they’ve posted a list of hate-crime hoaxes. Having recently written about the Dylan Bleier hoax at Oberlin, I figured I should post this list; seeing as they went to all the trouble. The list has links and of the thirteen they share (Bleier would be number fourteen) all but one was perpetrated by a liberal or liberals. Yes, there is a supposed ‘conservative’ hate-crime hoax from 2007.

As Conservative Intel points out, right off the top, hate motivated crime is a real problem that happens to real people, though I question whether adding the word hate deters the crime. The very temples of political correctness and diversity, university campuses, just happen to be the primary breeding ground for hate-crime hoaxes, which are themselves crimes.

To the list…

Prager University – ‘How to Praise your Child’

In the newest five-minute course, taught by Joseph Telushkin,  Prager University looks at how parents (and all adults) should praise children.  The conclusion: reserve your highest praise of children for when they behave well…when they treat others with kindness.  Good grades and all are certainly virtuous.  But nothing is as important as good behavior.  This … Read more

NH AG Legitimizes Special Class Of Voters and You’re Not One of Them

If you thnk lrtting proplr from out of state Vote in NH if OK youre Gonna have a bad timeThe Arborist, when taking the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office to task for the recent “investigation” that cleared the “voters” who claimed residence at Martha’s Motel for voting purposes then went back home, off to other campaigns, or back to their staffer jobs in DC, makes an important point that should not be overlooked…

“…It is unconstitutional to have dual domicile for the purpose of making your vote worth more than any other law abiding citizens. In effect, the NH AG has created two classes of voter in Arkansas – one who can vote only in Arkansas and one who can select either Arkansas or New Hampshire.”

Not just in Arkansas, either.  Every one of these people, the thousands of college students (and you can make almost any behavior ‘legal’ if you have the votes}, have rights that you do not have courtesy of the New Hampshire Democrat Party and Judge John Lefty Lewis.
