Welcome….To the Real World

Morpheus funemploymentYahoo News has a top story on how furloughed federal workers are getting bored.  It’s called ‘Shutdown Science: Furloughed Workers Feel the Burden of Boredom.’

Welcome to the real world.

A world where tens of  millions have been unemployed so long they have stopped looking and left the workforce.  And yet, we’ve had no ‘science’ reports about their plight.  Early on long term unemployement was actually promoted by the left and the media propagandists as liberating.  Funemployment, the called it.

Federal workers are unemployed for nine days–and can by all reports expect to get paid for the missed days–and we get…

…with the federal government shutdown pending a Congressional budget agreement, Wade is stuck at home — and she’s not enjoying it.

“I think nine days is the length of time it takes for anxiety to dissipate, anger to move to a background steady state, and boredom to just take over,” Wade told LiveScience. “I literally paced, a little bit ago, to keep myself from lying on the couch. Now I’m walking to get a coffee just to give myself something to do.”

Poor baby.
