Steve MacDonald An interesting thing happened on Tuesday in Hanover, New Hampshire. They had an unusually lopsided turn out for the race between Democrat Mike Cryans and the Republican victor, Joe Kenney.
Cryans got 91% of the votes. Just for perspective, Kim Jong Un got 9% only more in his ‘election.’ We’re pretty sure that ballot was stuffed.

The left’s smear campaign against the otherwise unknown Koch brothers is nothing more than the same old Alinsky tactics. Pick a target, freeze it, and then,….act like a lying, two-faced, hypocrite–truth be told.
Need a fresh example? Koch Industries and its “evil” affiliates are one of Democrat US Senator Mary Landrieu’s top donors. They’ve given her plenty of cash over the years. In this election cycle, Koch Industries has already given her $15,000.00 and it’s only March.
And guess who one of the recipients of cash from Mary Landrieu’s Leadership PAC is?
It has been concluded that the Senate Democrat’s recent global warming talk-a-thon was just an 11 hour infomercial to peddle their ideological ‘wares’ to “Buying up the US Senate” Hedge-Fund Billionaire Tom Steyer. Steyer is loaded, and committed to funding acolytes of the Church of Global Warming in the US Senate.
If you recall, we reported on Extreme Shaheen’s elbow-rubbing soiree at Steyer’s exclusive California estate.
Well here we are, just days after Green Energies New Caligula feasted the Senators with Salmon and Grass fed beef (from his own ranch), just hours after Extreme Jeanne Shaheen’s participation in the 11 hour Senate infomercial, and what to my wandering eyes should appear, but campaign donations to Shaheen from the Petroleum Marketers Association of America (PMAA).
“A few minutes ago, I left a message for Joe Kenney and wished him the best of luck on the council,” Cryans said in a written statement. “I want to thank him for running a hard-fought campaign, thank all the people who volunteered and supported either of us, and the Burton family for their support.”

On Tuesday there were two closely watched elections. In one, a reportedly flawed Republican candidate beat a wealthy Democrat for a Florida Congressional seat. The Republican based his entire campaign on opposing Obamacare, while the Democrat tested a new lines about being bi-partisan and willing to get things done. Given the the messages and the swing district nature of the seat there, it might make sense to suggest compare it to this fall’s elections.

The NH House Democrat majority will try to push through a job killing minimum wage hike today. In preparation for the Democrat’s attack on low skilled and unskilled workers, NH House Speaker Terie Norelli (D- Oz) has an editorial in the Union Leader. In it she tries to justify the wage hike by, well, lying.
The Union Leader, in a staff editorial on the opposite page, challenges her with these inconvenient things called facts.
Supporters of raising the minimum wage do not tell the truth about the minimum wage. If they did, it would never be raised. As an example, we publish on the opposite page an op-ed from New Hampshire House Speaker Terie Norelli, who hopes to pass a minimum wage hike in the House today. Let’s review her claims together.
New Hampshire Democrats think the government knows what an hour of labor is worth. They think that because it does things that are good for Democrats and only Democrats.
Tough on Illegal Immigration–not so much.
