Parker Gilbert, who is not from around here, was told by someone in the Democrat Party that he could vote here.  In November of 2012 he did just that, voting from his dorm room at Dartmouth, in Hanover New Hampshire.  Thousands of college students have been similarly instructed by Democrat activists, elected officials, liberal professors, and even town moderators, for years.

Parker Gilbert, however, is going to trial for rape, allegedly committed in a dorm room like the one he used as his ‘residence’ when he registered and voted in November 2012.  Being charged with rape, as Ed pointed out here, has a sudden cleansing effect on all previous notions of “residency.”

Oh, look! Democrat talking-points were wrong again.

Health insurance premiums have risen more after Obamacare than the average premium increases over the eight years before it became law, according to the private health exchange eHealthInsurance.

The individual market for health insurance has seen premiums rise by 39 percent since February 2013, eHealth reports.

Premiums under ObamaCare in one year rise faster than the previous eight combined.  Democrats at work!

For those not so good at the math, if everyone ‘worked’ for the government there would be nothing to tax to pay anyone. And by ‘worked’ we can mean employed or on the payroll of–as in living off money provided solely by the state.

If everyone relied on government for their means they would have no means.  There would be no ‘means.’ No one would earn anything.  This is important, because far too many people (most of them Democrats) fail to understand this.

Without private, productive wealth, government cannot exist.

The New Hampshire Senate voted to pass SB367 (with 4 Republicans–Boutin, Odell, Stiles, and Rausch).  SB 367 is a hike in the gas tax that is estimated to extract an additional 31 million dollars per year from New Hampshire Families and small business owners.   Business owners will have to eat the increase or pass it on in the cost of goods and services.  There is some speculation as to how much, if any of this 31 million per year will actually be used to address the fear-mongered roads and bridges problem used to justify these sorts of increases.

Then there is SB374, which is my favorite, because it passed in the same week that we got news about a young man who is going on trial for committing rape in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Former Atkinson Police Chief, Phil Consentino was just sworn in as a new Atkinson Selectman, and as could be predicted, the Lawrence Eagle Tribune has a picture of another Atkinson Selectman shaking hands with Consentino.

Yuck! Has this guy read the sexual harassment complaint that resulted in Consentino giving up his police chief job last year? I know they have it.

The Lawrence Eagle Tribune has always had a crush on Consentino which defies real reporting logic.

But it’s their paper so let’s make them a real story as a “balance” to real reporting in general.
