Why Are Democrats Afraid of a Fetus?

Pregnancy 20 weeks
Oh, man, is 20 weeks old enough or am I in A Democrat run state?

It’s just a fetus, right?  Right Democrats?  A wart in the womb.  It doesn’t have rights.  It isn’t a person.  That’s what you claim.  It is nothing of consequence.

I mention this because the Shaheen campaign is challenging then Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown for his support of an informed consent bill in 2005 that could include asking women to look at color photographs of a fetus before terminating one.

Scott Brown is on the Democrats side on so many issues, but lets skip that for the time being because this political stretch by Shaheen should be a problem for Democrats and here’s why.

Middle Class First Bus Tour? More Like Middle Class Last.

minimum wage cartoon payneIs there something wrong with your rhetoric when only your paid protesters manage to take any interest?

NASHUA – A pre-election push for a pro-Democrat platform came to Nashua in a big way Monday with the arrival of a Middleclassfirst.com bus tour at the Nashua Public Library. The 45-foot-long bus began a 18- state tour in Manchester earlier in the day. The tour will go through October and end in Washington D.C. just prior to the November election Brad Woodhouse, president of Americans United for Change and sponsor of the bus, spoke first to about 25 people who stood near the library’s lower parking lot, many wearing steel worker union shirts and coats. Very few members of the public trickled over to see what the big blue bus was all about. The bus touted bullet points consistent with the message delivered by mostly Democratic candidates, including increasing the minimum wage, offering equal pay for equal work, and making college more affordable.

Was there an intermission during the “show?”

James Madison on Partianship

As long as the reason of man continues fallible, and he is at liberty to exercise it, different opinions will be formed. “Leadership” Not In Jeanne Shaheen’s Tiny Blue Toolbox

Ann Kuster is an Empty-ChairIt may not be a well known maxim in New Hampshire but when Jeanne Shaheen was governor she liked to rule by committee.  Blue ribbon, fact finding, you name it – she’d call for a committee to investigate whatever her progressive mind thought ailed us.  (Progressive minds think everything ails us, and that they are the only cure.)

Since ascending to DC as a US Senator (notice I did not say New Hampshire), Shaheen has done her party bidding with little regard for anything other than the Democrat agenda.  Her idea of working for New Hampshire is not to try and keep more of our tax dollars in the state but to burnish her resume with acclamations about how she got some of it back.

Neither of these things is leadership.  So you might  not be surprised to learn that on September 11th, 2001 when crisis struck the nation, then Governor Shaheen was outside the state without having notified anyone else including those assigned to act in her absence.

California – Drunk Females Are Incapable of Consenting to Sex

California passed a law (Signed by Moon-beam Jerry Brown) that hold university (funding) hostage unless colleges and universities in the state adopt their policy with regard to sexual assault (etc)…

The bill holds hostage funding for colleges and universities unless “the governing board of each community college district, the Trustees of the California State University, the Regents of the University of California, and the governing boards of independent postsecondary institutions shall adopt a policy concerning sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking…”

That policy is strictly defined within the bill, and mandates new, uniform procedures for the reporting, counseling, and investigation of alleged sexual misconduct on campus.

The prime feature of this new law is yes means yes but there are a lot of rules about when yes might still mean no but no clear definitions of when yes–according to the law–can’t possibly mean yes.  As Amy Miller at Legal Insurrection observes,
