Obama’s CDC

Employees who never take responsibility for what happens on their watch are hard to stomach. We have seen Obama tell potentially exposed West Africans it’s OK to ride the bus, while the CDC tells potentially exposed Americans to stay off public transportation. We have seen the CDC tell an infected nurse to ride on an … Read more

Gender Bias At Wellesley

A girl who believes they are a boy, manages to get into an elite New England women’s college, only to find that there were women who didn’t think “he” was an appropriate choice to  promote a culture of diversity at Wellesley. Transgender woman can’t be diversity officer because she is a man now. “It’s not … Read more

Communist Party Mouth-piece Endorses Shaheen, Shea-Porter, And Kuster

A gallery of communist dictators, murderers of millions....
Also backed by the Communists….

Local NH Democrat Lucy Edwards is a contributor to People’s World, which is the latest incarnation of The Daily Worker–the American Communist Party paper of record.  They are not shy about the association, and proudly claim 99% (how cute) of their parentage from the Communist party newspaper.

Lucy, who is active with the NH Democrat party, organizer, agitator, and who has run for the NH House, is currently using senior issues to advocate the socialist agenda.  She is the president of the ‘NH Alliance for Retired Americans.’

WaPo – DCCC Attack Ads on Ebola ‘Absurd!’

WaPo On many levels, this line of attack is absurd. Obama’s Republican predecessor oversaw big increases in public-health sector spending, and both Democrats and Republicans in recent years have broadly supported efforts to rein in federal spending. Sequestration resulted from a bipartisan agreement. In some years, Congress has allocated more money for NIH and CDC … Read more

Isn’t That Rich?

Pile-Of-MoneyParty of the Rich

President Obama is sometimes beyond parody — especially when he plays the populist.

Last week, Obama headlined a $32,000-a-plate fundraiser at the $26 million Greenwich, Conn., estate of a real estate mogul. During that dinner I noticed an email from Obama in my inbox warning me that “If Republicans win, we know who they’ll be fighting for. Once again, the interests of billionaires will come before the needs of the middle class.”

Obama has played this populist game unceasingly since he began his presidential run in 2007. He spoke as if he were being outspent while demolishing John McCain in fundraising. He declared war on lobbyists before hiring more than 100 of them and recruiting many as his top fundraisers. His top adviser at the White House — millionaire Valerie Jarrett — proclaimed that their administration was busy “speaking truth to power.” . . .

The richest county in America, according to IRS data on mean household income, is Teton County, Wyo., home of Jackson Hole. It’s the only Wyoming county Obama won in 2012. And Obama won it big — by 12 points, while losing the rest of the state by more than 40 points.

Renny Cushing’s Democrat War On Women

Hello my name is warren wimmenNew Hampshire House Rep. Renny Cushing (D-Rockingham District 21) says he submitted a California like sexual consent bill because he has daughters.  Does he also have a good lawyer?

‘Yes means yes’ laws also hurt women.Studies have shown that men are far less likely to report sexual assault than women, but with a law like this, where the choice could be between seeing their futures ruined by an accusation or coming forward with an accusation — young men would likely choose the latter option. If the law remains as it is written, then women would become just as disadvantaged. If, as opponents predict, the law leads to an increase of accusations, anyone accused — man or woman — would be hurt by the lack of basic due process rights.” Since in our culture, women generally feel privileged to touch men without prior consent, one would actually expect more women to be guilty.

You should probably keep your boys home as well…

America’s Biggest Hypocrite

Just replace ‘Bruce Braley’ With Jeanne Shaheen, and Iowa, with New Hampshire, and the ad works just as well here. Steyer has spent over 3 million in third party ads to help  Jeanne Shaheen (reported so far).  I expect that sum is much larger given the frequency of internet ads I see from his PAC … Read more

Democrats Have Nothing to Do With This

Remember.  Just about every Democrats swore we could never drill our way out.  They, their green backers, and the Obama Administration have done nothing but get in the way of domestic energy production they could not control.  Thankfully, more than a few folks ignored them.  And now the Saudi’s have opened the stops on oil … Read more

Democrats Tell NH Parents, Teachers, And Administrators They Are Stupid

DoE Money pit - Obama and Duncan keep shoveling it into the bottomless holeI caught the end of a commercial by (I believe it was paid for by the) DCCC that described NH Congressional District two candidate Marilinda Garcia as an education risk not worth taking.  Seems the Dems are working the rope line on “Garcia wants to shut down the Federal Department of Education” and hey– that’s bad for children.

Is it?  I bet they can’t prove that?

Parents!  When was the last time you interacted in a positive way, in any way at all, with the Federal Department of Education?  Ever?  Did you know they have a $70 Billion dollar plus annual budget. ( It was around $35 billion before Obama and the Democrat Congress doubled it in 2009.)  Have you felt the doubling in value, I haven’t.

Seventy Billion. Isn’t that New Hampshire’s entire state budget for about 12 years?   So Riddle me this.  What might happen in education if our share of that 70 Billion never left New Hampshire in the first place?  Would education collapse?

Republican House Gave CDC More Money Than Obama Requested

Ebola USAtlanta Business Journal (The CDC is in Atlanta if you forgot)

Jan 17th, 2014 ( That’s 9 months ago)
CDC Wins Big Budget Deal

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will see an 8.2 percent budget increase for fiscal 2014, thanks to a $1.1 trillion spending bill announced by Congress Jan. 13.

This influx of cash will raise the CDC budget to $6.9 billion, which is $567 million more than it received in 2013. This is more than the agency anticipated, because the president’s fiscal year 2014 budget request for it was just $6.6 billion — a decrease of $270 million from fiscal 2012.

Of the $6.9 billion, $1.3 billion was allocated to protect the United States from foreign and domestic threats, both intentional and naturally occurring. $255 million will go to support bio-defense efforts, and $160 million will be set aside for states to address their most pressing public health needs. The CDC will get $30 million for Advanced Molecular Detection (AMD), which will help identify potential disease outbreaks earlier and more accurately.

Obama requested a CDC Budget Decrease.  He wanted them to get $270 million less dollars in 2014.  Republicans voted to give the CDC $567 Million more dollars.
