UNH CampusNew Hampshire taxpayers should take a few moments to measure the value of their ‘investment” in leadership at the University of New Hampshire (UNH). UNH President Mark Huddleston is the second highest paid Public University President in New England.

Huddleston’s compensation package – which increased 2.7 percent compared to the previous year – consisted of a base salary of $385,000 with a bonus of $107,800, but that total did not include nearly $60,000 in deferred compensation and retirement benefits, nor such perks as living at a university-owned house worth almost $1 million or access to a university car valued as nearly $17,000.

Another Blatant Display of Bias by The Left-Wing Media – Exposed!

Not a perfect comparison. I think the FBI did an extensive investigation but were told to put all in boxes and walk away.

But regardless of what the FBI did or did not do, the media never covered that scandal, or the investigation, at any of its critical junctures, in a manner or to a degree that comes close to their forensic investigation of one paragraph of a convention speech by Melania Trump.

That’s probably the better point. The media is blatant in its bias and this is another example.

Tommy Sheppard, a nationalist member of the Scottish Parliament, apparently said this regarding the royal wedding of a relatively harmless Kate Middleton: “Off with their heads.” Unlike Baldasaro, who’s reportedly facing investigation by America’s dreaded secret police, Wikipedia reports that Sheppard merely faced “some criticism.”

Don’t Like NH’s Property Taxes? Then Move to Maine

Skip took some time to fisk a letter to the Concord Monitor in which someone named John Andrews complains about the high property taxes in New Hampshire. He notes that across the border in Maine, he’d be paying a lot less in property taxes.

Skip does a great job exposing the fallacies upon which Andrews makes his case, and rightly points out that Maine has lots of other taxes that John never mentions. But he doesn’t have space to show how vast the chasm of the overall tax burden is between Maine and New Hampshire.

It’s Yuge.

US-backed rebels in Syria took a selfie before beheading a Palestinian child thought to be an enemy fighter. The resulting blowback from the selfie produced a statement from the al-Zenki movement leadership. In it, they say this is not their policy. They will locate and subject those associated with the child’s execution to a judicial committee and suitable punishments. Annnnnnnnd they blame the rest of the world.
