Tesla Wins 20MW Power Grid Contract.

Tesla won a contract to provide 20MW of power storage in California. As with all things Tesla and Elon Musk, my first question is who is paying for it? Musk has sponged up nearly $5 billion in taxpayer dollars to front his various innovations and some argue that this backstop is the only thing keeping … Read more

Hillary Co-Chair Billy Shaheen Floated Obama Drug Use Story in 2007

Trial ballonsAs we listen to the chickens fighting over who birthed the birther movement let us not forget. Hillary’s 2008 Presidential Campaign Co-Chair and NH state campaign Chairman Billy Shaheen, lawyer, and husband of now US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, both of them longtime Clinton meat-puppets, floated the “past drug use will bite Obama in the ass” story to the Washington Post.

From Salon.com Nov. 2007

Bill Shaheen, who raised the issue of Obama’s past drug use today, may not work at Clinton’s campaign headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. But Shaheen, the husband of former New Hampshire Gov. Jeanne Shaheen, is a co-chair of Clinton’s New Hampshire campaign and her national campaign. While the job of a campaign “co-chair” can be a largely ceremonial one, Bill Shaheen and his wife aren’t exactly strangers to Hillary Clinton.

Democrat Immigration and Refugee Policy Exposes Your Kids to Exotic Diseases

leprosyNothing says compassion like subjecting your citizens to rare diseases they thought vanquished within our nation’s borders. That’s right, boys and girls, the Democrat Party policy of open borders and the resettlement of refugees from third-world toilets comes with side effects. What kind? Tuberculosis, Hand, Foot and Mouth disease, and YES! Leprosy.

Jurupa Unified School District officials sent a letter home to parents Friday to inform them about the unconfirmed cases (of Leprsoy) and provide resources to learn more about the rare disease, said district Supt. Elliott Duchon.

NRA ‘Gun Nut’ Stops Knife Wielding ‘Alleged’ Terrorist in Minnesota

nra

Minnesota: Law enforcement has identified the terrorist who stabbed nine people in St. Cloud, Minnesota this weekend as a 22-year-old Somali-American who once worked as a security guard. Dahir Adan died when an off-duty policeman shot him repeatedly as Adan tried to keep stabbing, shouting “Allahu akbar!” and reportedly demanding to know the religion of his victims.

Police are still considering his motivation because, sensitivity training. But there’s no need to be sensitive about the guy who stopped the ‘alleged’ terrorist.

A Rose by Any Other, Other, Other, Name….

Al_Gore_Fire bannerGlobal Warming became ineffective when the globe stopped warming, so the poo-flinging progressive narrative monkeys changed it to ‘Climate Change.’ To borrow from the Guinness Guys, Brilliant! The climate is changing all the time. Any dope who says they don’t agree with ‘Climate Change’ (wink-wink), especially here in New England, will look like a stodgy old fool.

Of course, around New England, it was the stodgy old fools that coined the phrase “Don’t like the weather, wait five minutes” long before  the narrative monkeys decided it was a bad thing and their fault.

Yesterday the Rubens campaign issued a short press release explaining why he was absent from the Republican Unity Breakfast the day after the New Hampshire Primary.

Jim Rubens and his wife Susan had every intention of attending and were looking forward to Wednesday’s Unity Breakfast and publicly supporting Senator Ayotte and the entire Republican ticket. Unfortunately, the Rubens campaign was denied tickets.

And yes, as a matter of fact, there is a story behind why tickets were denied.

Jim Splaine and RSA 91-A – again. Portsmouth – We have a problem

Door lockedAssistant Mayor of Portsmouth, NH, Jim Splaine, is in a self-created Right to Know jam. As an advocate for openness in government for as long as New Hampshire has taken the issue seriously, he should know the ropes as well as anyone.

Here goes my take on the situation. I have a few years of Right to Know battles under my belt as well. And I have been involved in similar circumstances.

The background:

A City police officer let an elderly woman, citizen, taxpayer, of Portsmouth, who was suffering from dementia, put him in her will. This act has caught the entire city of Portsmouth in a tangled web of dirty municipal politics.

Warring with the Conservative Intellectuals

military_artillery_firingIf you have not yet read this, please do. It is long but important. Then, read this (a follow up based on reaction to the first), from whence the pull quote below, was…um, pulled. Also important, in my opinion.

The former referred to go-along, get-along conservative intellectuals, who could do with a double dose of thymos. Several writers on the Left obligingly made the point. Good conservatism adheres to the parameters we set for you. You may say this, but not this. If you do and say what we tell you to, your reward will be that we will call you racist Nazis a little less. Also, what we allow as “good conservatism” will drift ever leftward, so that something we permitted a year or two ago is subject to revocation without notice and you better get on board immediately or the deal is off.
