What Happened at Evergreen College Is Just Another Step In the Journey to the Promised Liberal Utopia

evergreen-wide-tree-no-city-greenIf you want to make an omelet you have to breaks some eggs, so the saying goes. That’s true for the progressive utopia too. But what they don’t tell you, what they can’t tell you, is that before they deliver the promised harmony and unity and self-awareness of a centrally planned economic caste system from which you can never escape, but that they will run, you have to break everything.

Part of what breaking everything looks like was on display at Evergreen State College this past spring. Evergreen descended into literal anarchy complete with SJW mob rule, terrorism, kidnapping, racism, assault, and battery. Sanctioned by the elites who stood by and did nothing, perpetrated by an army of people steeped in the modern cult of diversity and inclusiveness.

Fake News About Biggest Antarctic Iceberg Ever

What Does Keeping the Paris Agreement Alive Actually Mean?

Paris Agreement wont change the climateFrom the EU to California to Nashua and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, politicians and pundits are promising to keep the Paris Agreement alive despite President Trump’s exit. But what does that actually mean? It depends.

If you’re Turkey, it means you expect bitter Paris Accord clingers to write you a check to pay for the cost of compliance. If you’re China, you build a record number of coal-fired generating plants through 2030 (when Paris ends). Same deal in India. And as for Russia, they’ve gamed the system such that they can increase emissions willy nilly and still call it “compliance.”

Fields v. City of Philadelphia Reaffirms the First Amendment Right to Record The Police in Public

judge-gavelThe issue of filming the police in the course of public duties is one near and dear to many hearts here in New Hampshire. So this decision from the Third Circuit Court of Appeals (Fields v. City of Philadelphia) is worth visiting.

This case involves retaliation. Richard Fields and Amanda Geraci attempted to record Philadelphia police officers carrying out official duties in public and were retaliated against even though the Philadelphia Police Department’s official policies recognized that “[p]rivate individuals have a First Amendment right to observe and record police officers engaged in the public discharge of their duties.”

Because we forget, “Journalists are routinely being denied the right to photograph or videotape the president while he is performing his official duties,” according to a letter the organizations sent to the White House. “As surely as if they were placing a hand over a journalist’s camera lens, officials in this administration are blocking the … Read more

Non-Immigrant granted H-1B Visa to”work” as a Progressive political activist in NH

Congratulations to Viola Katusiime, Granite State Organizing Project’s (GSOP) Family, and Economic Security Organizer. She’s been waiting a year, and her H-1B visa was finally approved.

I’m no expert on non-immigration or H-1B visa’s, but I can read and agitating to advance mostly left-wing priorities, even with the best of intentions, does not appear to me to be one of the qualifying factors.

The H-1B is a non-immigrant visa in the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act, section 101(a)(17)(H). It allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations. …

The Paris treaty Is Just Another Progressive Climate Con

pariscartoonThe G20 is over, and the G19 has recognized America’s departure both on paper and as it relates to the cost. The US will not be paying into a multi-trillion dollar swindle, to which prominent Warmists have long openly admitted.

In actual intent and practice, the Paris Agreement is a political tool for suppressing growth, instituting global governance over energy use and economic growth, and redistributing wealth.

Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, former chairman of the IPCC, clearly spelled out that aim. Ms. Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change until last year, openly stated that it was not about climate but that, for the first time, it gave them the tools to replace capitalism. Former UNFCCC section director Ottmar Edenhofer bluntly said climate agreements are actually about how “we de facto redistribute the world’s wealth by climate policy.”

Socialist Bernie Sanders Has a Democrat Primary Opponent in Vermont!

In a pathetically liberal state run by New Yorkers and rich Connecticut elites, anyone wishing to run against the establishment must do more than take the Socialist Party Purity Pledge. (New Hampshire has something not similar called the “Taxpayer Protection Pledge.”)

In Vermont, to even stand a chance against a lifetime appointment Senator like Sanders you need something else. Something endearing to all Vermonters, and no it’s not just a New York accent. To garner total voter obedience your signature style must be more substantive, and I think Senator Sander’s primary opponent has it!

Is the Climate Cult the Left’s Last Hope and other Random Thoughts

Climate change is the single most important progressive agenda item. It has to be. Everything else they claim to care about has failed.
