“One thing is for sure, this country believes in crime control, not gun control.”

State after State has been announcing either a moving to or passing legislation that brings their State back to more in compliance of “shall not be infringed” of the Second Amendment on the Right of a citizen to keep and bear arms.  Unfortunately, while NH tried to bring itself more into compliance with its own Article 2A (” All persons have the right to keep and bear arms in defense of themselves, their families, their property and the state”) , Democrat Maggie Hassan, like all Progressives, turned up her nose against changing our the racist, discriminatory concealed carry law.  But more and more citizens are voting with their dollars and time at the range:

If the first quarter is any indication of where this election year is going, 2016 should prove to send a strong message to every candidate running their campaign on gun control.  It ain’t happening.

So far, 2016 is on pace to burn past last year’s record of 23 million background checks. The FBI reported an impressive 7,682,141 background checks in the first quarter this year. That’s a 36% increase from the same period last year, when the FBI reported 5,644,866 background checks.

But it’s not just gun sales.

THere is no way that we can keep up with all of the stupidness that is College Campuses today.  We can certainly say that what the Left has wrought on those campuses since the 1960s (and the Frankfurt School and that ilk before that) has come to fruition.  Remember the “Broken Windows” form of policing (i.e., crack down on the petty criminal activity and the major ones start to slow as well) that Rudy Guiliano began in NYC during his term as Republican Mayor to rectify the awefullness that was Democrat Mayor Dinkin’s legacy  that succeeded for the next decade (and which present Progressive NYC Mayor Bill DiBlasio is bound and determined to replicate)?  If college presidents were to apply this to their schools, this scourge of uninformed narcissistic self-loving, self-admiring, self-absorbed, self-obsessed, conceited, self-centered, self-regarding, egotistic, egotistical, egoistic and self-assuring incompetents we generally call students would get stopped dead in its tracks by showing them one small fact of life:

Maybe not a lot of folks – it is from the Concord Monitor after all.  What IS obvious is the plot line, proving what I have been saying for years, that school staff take a dim and condescending view of parents.  And now, in this court case, the Judge makes that legal (reformatted, emphasis mine):

A school guidance counselor who helped a 15-year-old girl get judicial approval for an abortion without telling her parents shouldn’t have lost her job, the state’s highest court ruled Thursday. Demetria McKaig’s contract at Farmington High School was not renewed in April 2013, four months after she blocked her principal from telling the girl’s parents about the pregnancy. A majority of Supreme Court justices said McKaig should be reinstated, but in a dissent, Justice Robert Lynn accused his colleagues of ignoring legal principles because the case involved a hot-button issue.

“Because I cannot join the bandwagon of political correctness that provides the only justification for the majority’s decision, I respectfully dissent,” he wrote.

Nice to see how easy it is for the Republicans mentioned above to backslap themselves in advancing the Democrat agenda item in moving socialized medicine forward. Limited Government? Less intrusive Govt? Free Markets? Ah….nope.Just once again proving to the base that the NH GOP is really the Bipartisan Fusion Party (aka, the Jr. Lackeys of the Welfare State).

Soon we can add to that NH State Rep title and call you the “NH Income Tax Daddy”.  But that’s all right, there are plenty of Republican Leaders acting as your handmaidens in this birthing.  Let me just mention the Republican starring roles in this celebration of more taxes (as NH taxpayers are also Federal taxpayers – thanks for adding to our already hunched over shoulders from the burden you in the Political Class throw onto us) (emphasis mine, reformatted):

I guess Mr. Chase doesn’t believe in local control in education. Which also means that with local control, it means local responsibility for funding the decisions that come from local control if a town decides it wants full time kindergarten.

That was my comment left at Tom Chase’s LtE in the Concord Monitor (after the jump; hey, if yer gonna debate Libs, ya gotta go where they flock) on berating Republicans for not financing full time kindergarten. He seems angry that some Republicans whose districts already have full time kindergarten voted down HB1563 – I have no clue why because OBVIOUSLY their towns decided they should shoulder their own expenses, why should they pick up the tab for someone?

And what is the morality behind increasingly having some pay more and more for the many?  When does it stop – what is the limiting factor?  At least the Republicans SAY that they favor local control – so I’d chalk it up to being in step with what the Rs believe: local means local.

Forty-three U.S. senators presented a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court today arguing that President Barack Obama is seeking to “implement his policy preferences” in dealing with certain classes of illegal aliens “by the extra-constitutional assertion of a unilateral executive power. With millions of illegal aliens not permitted to remain in this country, work in this country, or receive government benefits pursuant to federal law, the Executive decided to provide such privileges to them anyway through administrative fiat,” says the brief.

…Democracy Spring, which is currently in the midst of a 10-day protest march from Philadelphia to DC, with plans for a major escalation in DC on April 11. On that date, the group says it is plotting “one of the largest civil disobedience actions in a generation.” As of this writing, 3,404 activists specifically pledged online to participate in the main civil disobedience event and risk arrest on on April 11 in D.C.

THE HYPOCRISY OF PAYPAL’S ‘MISSION AND CULTURE:’ The online payments company cancels plans to expand in North Carolina while maintaining offices in some of the most anti-gay countries in the world.

It is because the LGBT mafia see Christianity as its greatest enemy here in the United States and as easy marks as many won’t fight back at all.  But in those countries that actively kill their LGBT populations?  Like many on the Left, they won’t stand up to the Muslims because they know they’d get hurt (at best) – they hide under the rubric of “cultural norms”.
