Germany to tell people to stockpile food and water in case of attacks.

For the first time since the end of the Cold War, the German government plans to tell citizens to stockpile food and water in case of an attack or catastrophe, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung newspaper reported on Sunday.  Germany is currently on high alert after two Islamist attacks and a shooting rampage by a mentally unstable teenager last month. Berlin announced measures earlier this month to spend considerably more on its police and security forces and to create a special unit to counter cyber crime and terrorism.

“The population will be obliged to hold an individual supply of food for ten days,” the newspaper quoted the government’s “Concept for Civil Defence” – which has been prepared by the Interior Ministry – as saying.

Another report states “People will be required to stockpile enough drinking water to last for five days, according to the plan, the paper said.”

I think that “man-made disaster” certainly fits Germany right now – or would that be “Prime Minister-made disaster” be better put seeing that Angela Merkel in deciding to go all open borders to mostly economic, mostly Muslim, mostly ill-educated, and mostly military-aged men.  But for 10 days, that’s a long time to shelter in place for an Islamic attack – or are they thinking of a much bigger attack coordinated in lots of locations around the country that would necessitate martial law?

Frankly folks, the old Boy Scout motto “Be Prepared” (I have no idea what it is now since Progressives / Leftists have now infiltrated and taken over that “societal institution” as the Frankfurt School started back in the 1920s) still holds water because you don’t know when, where, or how this “insurance” might be needed….

As far as I’m concerned, good!  I just happened across this and once again, there seems to be no stone unturned that can’t cause some outrage amongst the the continuously outraged and offended victimologists (re: part of the Democrat identity group coalition that are eternally oppressed by…well….sometimes themselves.  But they complain even then).

Why Do Women’s Sports Even Exist?

My, my, there those feminists go, complaining again. This time the whining concerns supposedly “sexist” Olympics coverage. Their problem? Many journalists are, we’re told, using different language when talking about female athletes than when speaking of male ones. Oh, the humanity! There’s the guy who credited a female swimmer’s husband/coach for her success, the talk about a six-foot-three-inch South Korean woman volley ball player’s difficulty finding a boyfriend, and a reporter who called an equestrian rider “blondie.”

I’ll let that go for now.  What I hadn’t heard before were a couple of examples that point out that men ARE superior to women in sports (well, if you paid any attention to sports, especially during the Olympics that just ended, you’d already now that men are faster, stronger, quicker, jump higher and longer….it’s simple biology and I guess the feminazis want us all to make these results be like “these are not the droids you are looking for”.

Bush was president right now and playing golf with celebrities in one of the richest zip codes in the country, would the headlines again be everywhere that portray him as insensitive, out-of-touch, even a racist president be the same now as they were 2005? Of course they would. Instead, President Obama continues his vacation that includes fundraising events for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and the relative silence is deafening.”

But then again, if Obama was a Republican, would he would be getting the “Media BDS” (Bush Derangement Syndrome”)?

Andru Volinsky has an Op-Ed (full piece after the jump) that is about “shared values”.  Unfortunately, he’s not honest enough to say “these are Progressive values” and instead tries to hide them as “commonsense New Hampshire values” trying to make readers think “well, how COULD you argue with these?” as they cock their heads to the side going “huh – what?”.  Sure, there are long term NH values,  but they are summarized with our State motto – “Live Free or Die”; Volinsky, like all Progressives, is working to change those values in his run for the NH Executive Council.   I’m not going to regurgitate the whole thing but outline a couple of wrong headed ideas as well as point out “He’s not from the traditional self-reliant leave-me-alone” community – instead, his guiding principle is more of the communitarianism that is foreign to this State (as well as traditional American values).  Instead, he’s happy to further install that foreign European socialist political philosophy that socialist leaning Americans hide behind the “Progressive” facade”.

FREE DOG IN AMERICA

No, not giving our dog away. Rather sharing some thoughts on dogs.

We have Goldens and have had for quite a few years. The dog fits us to a “T”. Sure she sheds. The pickup truck, dog’s truck, is full of swirling hair when we opt to drive with all the windows down. The bride starts waving her arms in survival mode and I know to roll up all the windows and turn on the AC. But it is the dog’s truck. Not the family “truckster” or a vehicle we pick friends up at the airport. Hundred and ninety thousand miles and not an oil leak. Burns some oil but has been a 100% vehicle for everyday living and hauling. The dog is free to come and go with me all the time and usually does. We both like getting out of the house and we never worry about the mess. A bi-annual clean up of the truck is in order though. It is our truck!!

Or, why do we think there there is only a Fusion Party?  Because they act no differently than the Democrats when they don’t think we’re looking.  Take the appropriations for the Office of Civil Affairs and its meddling over transgenderism by its own re-manufacturing of law and definition replacing the meaning of what was passed originally by Congress (emphasis mine, reformatted) and the Republicans didn’t stomp on its brakes – they mashed its accelerator down (“very generous budget increase last year”) in “fundamentally transforming” traditional mores:

…OCR is perhaps the most left-wing office in the federal bureaucracy. Bankrolling it that way Congress did was an egregious error (for which they were rewarded with the transgender guidance). This would be understandable if Congress were in the hands of the Democratic Party. As Republicans rule the roost, however, this seriously discredits congressional Republicans.

And it is actions like this have the Republican asking “what good are they???”

Fund puts it this way: “If Republicans in Congress wonder why so many conservatives are frustrated with them, here is one reason: GOP lawmakers generously fund the Obama administration’s most out-of-control elements while slapping down the conservatives who try to warn them away from such misjudgments.”

And then they wonder why the base rebelled by voting for Trump? They keep forgetting that “burn it all down” is a viable political phrase. And that only exists because they keep showing us why we can’t Trust them.

The U.S. Secret Service is under scrutiny after a batch of newly released documents revealed that a special agent was accused in 2012 of using a date-rape drug to molest boys. The revelation, stemming from a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, raised questions about whether the Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security, which oversees it, as well as its investigative arm, took sufficient action when confronted with the allegations.

And yet, Progressives keep telling us that Government is filled with experts that are non-partisan and only have everyone’s best interest at the forefront.  Again, what were those boys’ best interests in getting molested by Federal Government employees?
