HB1576 will be up for a hearing in the House Ed Committee on Tuesday at 11 am/Room 205-207. It would repeal the anti-discrimination law that forbids teachers or administrators from using the radicalized Critical Race Theory to discriminate against your children. This must be STOPPED.

Adult residents in SAU16 were greeted to signs like these when they arrived at the Deliberative Session. Masked residents parked, entered the building, and were seated in one area of the building. Unmasked residents were required to park, enter the building, and were seated in a separate room where they could not be seen.

Teachers Union: “Let Us Do Our Jobs Without Interference From Parents…”
It was extremely disappointing when Timberlane’s Coral Hampe, President of the Timberlane Teachers’ Association, disparaged parents over proposed legislation that could help parents, when it comes to objectionable material that is assigned to their children.
CHILDREN: Comply or ELSE, What’s Happening in Your School?
Years ago I was talking with a very sweet teacher at one of the strictest schools I had ever seen. The children were amazing, the parents were amazing, and the staff was amazing. But that teacher mentioned to me, you have to put in reasonable rules if you want children to learn to respect rules.

It’s Almost like They Are Building a Dossier on Your Children. Actually, That’s Exactly What They Are Doing.
When your district uses technology vendors, there is a certain amount of data extracted from your child. Rarely do parents read the privacy statements by vendors, but even if they did, they’d discover that the privacy agreement isn’t exactly private.
Excuse Me Bedford: Your School Administrators Need to Follow the Law
This is just an fyi to the parents in Bedford. Now that it looks like your school is becoming a mental health facility for your children, you need to be aware of federal law. Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires your consent on any assessment or treatment when it comes to the mental health of your children.
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Will Include Critical Race Theory
The Center for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is now using Critical Race Theory. Not only will CRT be coming through Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), it will be coming through the PBIS too. This was a way of data-mining mental health , but now they will be data-mining your child’s attitudes, values and beliefs as they relate to race. You might want to make sure you check to see all the data they are mining on your children and where it’s going.
Paying My Respects to Barbara Shaw (D) State Representative, Manchester
A little over a decade ago, I walked into the New Hampshire House Education Committee for the first time to observe a committee hearing on education legislation. Most of the people serving back then, no longer serve in the legislature. That’s where I met Representative Barbara Shaw (D) from Manchester.

CALL TO ACTION: Tell NH Senators to Improve Civic Education – Vote FOR HB319
I run into resistance all of the time when supporting measures that would improve knowledge and literacy in the core academic subjects. That is why I’m making a public appeal to those who care about the poor quality of civics education students are receiving.
How to Combat the Grinch in the Public School and Bring the Joy of the Holidays to Students
Parents are concerned that some of their public schools are removing the joy from the upcoming holiday season. I remember as a child in a public elementary school, participating in a Christmas program where parents were invited. We sang Christmas carols, and put on a Christmas program.
Where is the Money Tree in SAU16/Exeter? Fiscal Irresponsibility?
The New Hampshire Union Leader published an editorial speaking directly to the expense of going to court over a pending lawsuit in SAU16. In Gender gymnastics: How much is this going to cost?, the editor makes several good points regarding the tax dollars that will be spent on this lawsuit.
Medical Staff Shortage Can Be Traced Back to Dumbed Down Common Core and Next Generation Standards
I warned, that with the dumbing down of public education, one of the areas that would suffer would be, the medical profession. Granted the fuzzy math era hurt the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field too. Common Core and the Next Generation Science Standards are contributing to the lack of medical professionals working in the hospitals because they do not prepare students for the STEM field.
