My senior US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, is mad as a hornet over this as she sees Government from which “all blessings flow” from the top down instead of letting individuals bless each other freely outside of the constraints of rules and regulations.  Over at Big Government is a list of 20 items that Trump has done to keep his campaign promises.   First, this, which MUST be putting Shaheen on her knees, bawling like a toddler and puddling up the floor:

White House estimates show that the regulations that Trump has already repealed will save approximately $10 billion over the next ten years or $1 billion per regulation.

As Doug used to say, “every dollar is precious” to Progressives and Trump is aiming to take more than $10 billion from her command and clutches.

• In January, Trump signed an executive order that would cut two regulations for every new regulation proposed. Trump stated, “If there’s a new regulation, we have to knock out two.”
• President Trump signed an executive order advancing construction of the Keystone XL and Dakota Access oil pipelines, previously blocked by the Obama administration. Subsequently, the Trump administration approved the construction of both pipelines.
• Trump signed an executive order in February known as “Enforcing the Regulatory Reform Agenda.” The order will create regulatory watchdogs that will find new onerous regulations to eliminate. Trump said that “every regulation should have to pass a simple test: Does it make life better or safer for American workers or consumers? If the answer is no, we will be getting rid of it and getting rid of it quickly.”

SHOT: Report: GOP Leaders May Exclude Border Wall Funds In Next Years Budget

The creation of a border wall along our southern border continues to be something president Trump really wants to make happen.

However, a new report indicates that federal funds for Trump’s border wall may not be included in the House GOP’s budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018. The border wall is estimated to cost upwards of $12 billion, and House Democrats, along with a few House Republicans, are doing everything they can to ensure that funding is not factored into the GOP budget….Ahead of the decision to include the funds or not, House Speaker Paul Ryan indicated that border wall funding would not be included in the GOP budget

As I have said in the past, I’ve flown over 500,000 miles for business and most of those on United.  In the past, I was a Premier Exec level frequent flier for multiple sequential years in the past.  Most of the employees I came into contact with were always cordial and polite (even if getting harassed by folks that had lost their minds and sense of “adultness”).

This event, where a doctor was knocked out by airport security / police and then dragged up the aisle simply because he wouldn’t “voluntarily” give up his seat so that a United employee could sit in it instead of him (a paying customer)?  Totally out of bounds.

• Yes, because of the “carriage laws”, an airline has the right to remove you for whatever reason they want.
• Yes, they’ve deserved their $750 million whack in their valuation during the day (even at a $22+ billion valuation, it should get the Board of Directors’ attention).
• Yes, their CEO is a complete fool.  I can understand backing your employees, but knocking out a paying passenger??  And the video kinda throws water on the CEO’s claims.

While I have not posted much about it, I have been watching the disaster that has become Sweden’s effort to be “nice” as they deliberately took in more Muslim refugees per capita than any other EU nation.  In all these nations, crime has gone up especially sex crimes (and their governments and media have tamped down the size and reporting of the crime rates).  In Sweden, Malmo is the shining example of “no-go” zones where first responders won’t venture in without police protection.  It is also clear that even armed police are starting to lose control and do not wish to go into majority Muslim neighborhoods.  Like other EU nations, they are now starting to realize that they have imported their own society’s suicide. Germany, France, Luxembourg, Britain; all have experienced Islamic terrorism.

Every time that I think I have heard “the most stupid thing evah!” coming out of our Precious Snowflake colleges, out comes another that’s just that much worse.  Politically Correct speech, made up gender bender terms, the totalitarian reactions if you don’t adhere to what someone demands, and the utter bizarreness of what these kids dig up (at the coaching of Professors that seemed to be consumed with grievances of all types) and stating that THIS is something “important” – who can keep up with the ever changing Totem Pole of Badness?  Who WANTS to do this?  Can’t we get college kids to start swallowing gold fish again, or trying to stuff as many people as they can into a small car or a phone booth (er, sorry, showing my age there; is there such a thing as reverse ageism?)?

But I never had the inkling that HAIR is now the newest source of oppression.  Seriously, there’s a “HAIR privilege”?

Yeah, NH Speaker Shawn Jasper, the formerly Democrat appointed NH Speaker of the House, is upset with Republicans, well, who are acting like Republicans.  Jasper is willing to go for bigger government – these Republicans aren’t.  Jasper is willing to spend more – these Republicans won’t.  He couldn’t get his budget passed – they stopped him and his fellow Democrats.  Stalwarts, they be, I say.  He called them WHAT???

“I am not a person that gives in to essentially terrorism,” said Jasper, R-Hudson, during a lengthy interview Friday about the maverick team of 32 conservatives who helped block passage of the budget.

Yeah, that’s rhetoric right out of the Democrat playbook.  I know – that’s the kind of language the Progressives (who ALWAYS rachet up government) used against us in the TEA Party movement.  They did so because we wanted a government that stayed within its Constitutional bounds, was frugal, and espoused Free Markets.  And Jasper calls this new NH Freedom Caucus “terrorists”?  Standing up for Principles – Republican principles?

And it’s not a bad Russian translation like Hillary’s “overcharge” of a reset button.  Mark Steyn is a NH treasure and here are some words concerning Trump vs Obama and Trump’s messaging to the rest of the world.  He campaigned that his main thrust would be America First – certainly Steyn thinks that Trump is delivering on his promises:

It shows you he responds to things. He’s very nimble and able to respond to things. The disgusting aspect of the last eight years is that Obama mistook the sidelines for the moral high ground.
