A loyal reader who owns a business sent this partial scan of a job application from a little while ago; I’ve added the “emphasis”. I was also told that this young lady is still looking for employment.
Is it too much to ask that our educational system, which is generally around 66% of our local tax burden in most town, at least be successful in teaching their clients (we taxpayers are the actual customers) how to spell the word that connotes final success of their tutelage? Please? Just one word? After all, at a cost of almost $65,000 per high school student over 4 years here in NH, can’t we expect them to spell DIPLOMA correctly (cursive optional)?
“General” would be nice, too.
