AFP/NH – Presidential Summit on Spending and Job Creation

by

The second part of the event held Friday night was AFP/NH’s Presidential Summit on Spending and Job creation.  Of COURSE, Corey had some problems in calming the crowd (having taken a break for, well, the actual dinner part of the Dinner) who, having finished their repasts, were now back to engaging in what political folks on either side of the aisle do: yak.

Finally, having herded a sufficient number of cats, he introduced his boss, Tim Phillips, the President of Americans for Prosperity to act as moderator for this Summit.  Here, he speaks to the crowd, to the issues facing the nation, and introduces the ground rules for the event:

Five Republican Presidential candidates (perhaps!) first had their intro talk and then handled two questions each from Tim Phillips.  In alphabetical order:

Michele Bachmann                         Hermain Cain

US Representative (R-MN)           Businessman, TEA Party speaker

Tim Pawlenty                          Mitt Romney

former Governor (R-MN)                  former Governor (R-MA)

Rick Santorum

former US Senator (R-PA)
