Ilhan Omar, the new female (let’s not forget that accomplishment) Congressman from Minnesota has raised some hackles with her anti-Christian anti-Jewish rhetoric of hate. The hackles come from both sides of the political spectrum; the Left, and the rest of America. And now Democrats are trying to find a “replacement” for her in the next primary.
I would pray that happens – and is not successful.
Ilhan Omar beat two left-wing, female, Harvard graduates in her climb to power. I love that aspect of her career. Each opponent she had from the progressive wing of what was once the Democrat Party would vote exactly as she does. That would be as Nancy Pelosi tells her to vote in any meaningful legislation that undercuts our country.
So, what is the big deal about Rep. Ilhan Omar?
First, she is a Muslim activist bottled up in a congressional seat where she gets way more attention than she deserves, only because of her hate. Omar wants to take to the streets with her hatred and let her ideology fly into any rapper microphone she can grab. But Omar can’t be her complete self without further damaging the Democrat/Socialist Party. Imagine her unending frustration.
Second, should there be a real fight over the House seat won by a female Muslim, glass ceiling breaking, female of color, progressives have a dilemma. Omar has a perfect voting record so far. What will they use against her? It will have to be a stealth campaign. A third candidate trick is probably out of the question. The only solution might be another female minority. That would be interesting to watch. A ruthless grab for power in a bloodthirsty, no holds barred campaign – with tons of out-of-state billionaire money.
Third, and this is the bad part about concerned leftists removing a Muslim activist from Congress. It is pretty simple. Ilhan Omar would most likely be off to teach at a college where guilt-laden children of liberal parents will suck up her hate and ideology like pasty white little sponges.
Please leave Ilhan Omar right where she can do the most harm to the new old socialist party.
