GrokTALK! Special – Ed Naile (Chair, CNHT)

by

I really don’t think that this was entirely correct, Landrigan reports on yesterday’s NH Democrat Party elections:

What if they held an election and nobody runs?

That’s the state of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, which, despite the pasting it took from voters last fall, had no opponents for a nearly full slate of incumbents.

The only new person is former state Sen. Bette Lasky, of Nashua, who is now secretary of the party, replacing Michael Rollo, a former Senate staffer and ex-House committee chairman who’s now lobbying for the state cancer society.

The state committee re-elected Ray Buckley, of Manchester as chairman; former Portsmouth Sen. Martha Fuller Clark as first vice chairman; Ossipee’s Dorothy Solomon, who left as secretary to become second vice chairman; Hanover Rep. David Pierce as treasurer; and Gray Chynoweth, of Manchester, as legal counsel.

Last week, Buckley also won a second two-year term as president of the Association of Democratic State Chairs in the U.S. and kept his vice chairmanship slot on the Democratic National Committee.

Got a call JUST after the end of our GrokTALK! show yesterday from Ed Naile who is the Chair of CNHT (Coalition of NH Taxpayers) and has been, Kathy Sullivan’s laughter to the contrary, a registered Democrat for quite some time. He decided that Ray Buckley, who just endured, as head of the Party, the biggest whipping evah! on November 2nd, needed some competition.  He talks about his view of the current Democrat Party and as the interview continues, talks about what he would do vis-a-vis general elections and trying to get the problems of the State fixed.
