by

This past Thursday, Frank Guinta, freshman GOP Representative from NH, had his first town hall meeting in Laconia, NH during his first "district work" week.  I had the opportunity to meet Laconia Mayor Mike Seymour, who did the intro for Frank,  for the first time. And in a "hand across the aisle" moment, chatted politely with Ed Allard, former Laconia Democrat Chair for a few minutes (no, he’s no Tip O’Neal and I’m no Reagan).

Frank has definitely has improved in his delivery since I first watched him two years ago – shortened the remarks, has gotten more pithy, but certainly seems to be quite knowledgeable about the issues.  It is also clear that on some topics / issues he is a bit conflicted – there are hard choices to make.  I do believe that he means it when he wants to hear from his constituents and wants your ideas.

Yup, we got plenty of those!
