Endorsement: Jack Kimball for NH GOP Chair

by

It is with pleasure that GraniteGrok is announcing its choice in the NH GOP Chair race: Jack Kimball.

We endorsed him for Governor in the GOP Primary race:

He saw that the ideals of Liberty and Freedom that allowed us unequaled freedom of choice in our personal lives were being eroded by those that believe in Progressivism / Socialism – that instead of people deciding for themselves what was best for themselves, Government should set parameters of choice for people – and eliminate those that are not "for the common good".

We believe that this is the driving issue – and while not gaining the nomination in his race, he did proceed to work hard in races this past November 2 to help those in the Republican races – including for the person that bested him in his own race, putting Principle ahead of the personal.

We are still convinced that many of the factors that drew us to Jack in that contest remain true in this one. In a multi-dimensional environment, we believe that he has the capability to handle each of these successfully and capably on behalf of the goals of the NH Republican Party.

  • Leading the NH GOP staff
  • Given his experience as an entrepreneur, he knows the methods of using each person to their personal best.
  • Understands that attention to detail lives in each and every aspect of creating a synthesis of disparate personalities to achieve a given set of results over time.
  • Able to articulate the philosophy of the Party

He knows the Platform.  Better still, he agrees with each Article in it.  Best – he lives it.  Republican philosophy elevates the individual over the collective – it is about all of the Rights stemming from our two Constitutions (NH and the US).  As a Ronald Reagan style Republican, he stands on those principles.

  • Inspire and attract others to the Party

Often I have heard "Why do *I* have to follow Jack?" at various speaking events.  His a natural gift, he will be called upon to keep fighing for those principles in expressing why they are important, how they relate to society, and their benefit to the individual over that of the Democrats and Progressives.

  • Leading the newly awakened activists and enthuse the long time ones

This will be critical over the next two years; many may believe that the hard work is already done: we won! We know better – it is only the end of the beginning.  We believe that he can be successful in this – we have already seen him do it several times.  He has helped activists run already and get people to help them in their campaigns. He knows them personally from his own record of activism.  He speaks their language, and has a proven track record of exciting those around him to work, work hard, and work long. His contacts span those within the Party and just as importantly, those outside the Party who lent their energy to this latest election.

  • Being the public face of the Party
  • The Presidential Primary race has already begun; we need someone that can work with them and aid them equally as they make their way around the State
  • New Hampshire will be, once again, one of the battleground States.  Jack has been tested – we actually look forward to the Democrats and Progressive interest groups attempting to engage Jack (it would be rather amusing and instructive to those entities to see their astonishment after their first try).

There are more reasons in addition to those above.  In the end, however, at this time, in this place, the Republican Party needs a dynamic leader that can quickly react to unanticipated scenarios and rally the troops to meet those needs.

Jack Kimball is that leader.
