Yesterday was the annual Picnic held by CNHT (Coalition of NH Taxpayers), a grassroots organization that works with people at the local town / city level on issues of taxation, representation, education, appraisals – well, almost anything that affects either good governance or hinders the attainment of such.
The annual picnic is viewed as an "Old Home Day" for Conservatives here in NH; while speakers (especially candidates during this election year) come to show their flags, it is all about reconnecting and re-establishing ties with other activists. That said, we do have speakers.
This year, the featured speaker was NH’s own famous political pundit extraordinaire – PJ O’Rourke!
This clip is right in front of the lecturn – many thanks to TMEW (The Most Esteemed Wife) for helping out all day with the Flip Cam while I was testing out some new features with camera we use for live streaming in doing recording direct to disk.
In fact, after I get Blip.TV to upload it, I’ll put up the same speech, albeit a different angle and from a much longer distance, after the jump.
