Morning Update: Will Ads, Calls, And Mailers Stop?

Today, in the morning update, it’s Election Day 2026, and while it’s anyone’s guess what could happen, hopefully all the calls, ads, and mailers will stop, plus a few observations and maybe even a prediction.

Welcome to your Tuesday, November third, 2026 morning update. It is election day, and that means all kinds of things to all kinds of people. As I said on Grok Talk, I believe it was tomorrow; it will be the first day of the rest of your political life. Who knows how that’s gonna turn out, but it always turns out somehow, and we’re gonna keep doing what we’re doing no matter what happens. Hopefully the socialists don’t win. One thing that will happen.

I hope the ads, calls, and mailers will stop. You got a lot of ads, a lot of calls, a lot of mailers. Some of you pay extra for your streaming services so you don’t have to watch them. But if you’re watching network television, you’re getting bombarded by hundreds of ads, many of them the same, over and over again. I don’t pay extra for my streaming services to get rid of ads. So I get to watch the same ads over and over and over again myself.

And I know where the mute button is on my remote. I think I could do it in my sleep. So you know, I feel bad for the other commercials because we’re not watching those. But after today, they’ll stop. We might have riots and protests and an actual insurrection, but we won’t have ads. Anyway, I try to keep track

how much abuse I get from the mail and the in the calls. And the calls haven’t been too bad. Pollsters, campaigns, things like that. I’m sure you’ve gotten your fair share. And I didn’t really get very many on my phone, but I expect to get quite a few today to remind me to vote, to bring people to vote, texts too. Lots of those. Anyway, you can block those. That’s pretty easy. Just type stop if you didn’t know that.

I think my biggest flyer batch of the day- that means one single mail delivery- I got thirteen different political flyers. And while that was a record, I’ve had quite a few days where I’ve gotten ten, eleven, or twelve of them. And

I throw them away, like everybody else. But they are a reminder to people that there’s an election that they should be involved in and that there are consequences if they don’t get involved.

So the ads, the calls, and the mailers should stop. You may get a few trailers, a few late ones. We’ve had a few scandals in New Hampshire where the mail was actually purposefully held until after the election. You can find those stories on granitegrok.com. We haven’t had any recently, but dirty tricks are dirty tricks

And as I said in the opening, we really don’t know what’s going to happen.

Given all the activity on the left about how they’re going to respond if they lose, kinda makes me think they think they’re gonna lose.

Nationally, I really couldn’t begin to guess, but locally, we’ve had something different this year. We’ve had a massive, and I mean massive, get out the vote campaign. Door knocking, phone calls, probably texts, emails, people making physical contact, though, on a scale that we’ve never really seen before in a federal election, or at least a midterm election. TP USA, Americans for Prosperity, even the NHGOP have people on the ground.

Knocking doors, shaking hands, making contact with Republicans and Republican leaning independents just to say, hey, we’d like to remind you to get out and vote. If you need a ride, you can just give us a call, and we’ll bring you there and back. It just, it feels different. It looks different. And I have to wonder what happens if Republicans still lose. That’ll be interesting. But honestly, at the state level, I don’t think they will.

I think they put enough ground game in. Because remember, the Democrats do this all the time. They’re not doing anything extra. They’re doing what they always do. It’s the Republicans who have changed their tactics for this midterm. And we will not know, in some cases, for days, maybe even weeks, who controls the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate. But by around 10 o’clock tonight, maybe even a little earlier, we should have a really good idea of what the Granite State government is going to look like in the next two years.

And hopefully it’s a little more red than it was, and a lot less blue. But that’s entirely up to me and you. I wasn’t trying to rhyme, not this time, but I did. That’s it for today. Go out and vote. Bring people with you: friends, family. Makes a difference. And you don’t want those lefties in charge of anything.

That’s it for today.

But because of the recording schedule, the Wednesday morning update will very likely not be about election results at all, but Thursday could be. In either case, just tune in every day. We’ll talk to you tomorrow.
