Tell them what you believe in – then DO what you’ve told them you believe in (see #1)
Never, EVER:
Act in a way that brings up “Vote for us; we’ll manage Bigger Government better than the Democrats” in your base’s minds
Bonus:
Never give us a reason to let the phrase “Least Lackeys of the Welfare State”
