Press Release: Senate Dem Drops Out Because He Lived in Maine

Did you see the news? Democrat State Senate Candidate Cecil Abels of Rochester was forced to suspend his campaign due to the fact that he did not meet residency requirements to be a member of the Senate.

This begs the question: why can’t the Senate Democrats find candidates that are actually from New Hampshire to run?

Let’s do a rundown:

In District 7, Rebecca Harned has unquestionable ties to the DC Beltway and at least one more home in Colorado. She works for an NGO based out of Maryland and authored a blog about her love affair for living in DC. She even signed a mortgage document in 2025 that specifically references a “primary residence” in Virginia.

Meanwhile, in District 18, Leonard Bell has a mysterious second life in New Brunswick, Canada that he still has yet to explain.

And now Cecil Abels is dropping out of the race because he lived in Maine.

The biggest problem isn’t even that they aren’t from New Hampshire, it’s that they brought their far-left politics with them. Maybe if they found candidates that are actually from New Hampshire they would understand that we don’t want candidates that are going to spend us into a sales and income tax.
