Welcome to your Wednesday, Groktober 14th, 2026, morning update
The educators and administrators at Camas High School in Washington State must never have heard of a little town called Bow, New Hampshire.
Bow violated parents’ First Amendment rights by peacefully protesting a boy on the opposing girls’ soccer team.
The parents were asked to leave and formally banned from a number of future games simply for wearing pink wristbands with two X’s on them. We had the pleasure of helping the story go not just national but global, so I’m wondering how Camas missed the boat.
They were just standing there. The game was actually stopped when somebody else got triggered.

Welcome to your Wednesday, Groktober 14th, 2026 morning update.
The educators and administrators in Camas High School in Washington State must never have heard of a little town called Bow, New Hampshire.
Bow violated the First Amendment rights of parents peacefully protesting a boy on the opposing girls’ soccer team.
Triggered by a silent protest. After which the school actually accused the parents who were silently protesting of disrupting the game.
At the next game, a crowd of parents showed up wearing pink wristbands with two X’s on them, forcing the school to come up with the crazy idea that they needed a protest area way over there.
Clearly, the coaches, referees, administrators, and plenty of the other parents were fragile little snowflakes.
The Bow school district got sued. Lost the case, the cost of defending their own stupidity, and I believe they had to pay for the parents’ legal fees.
The story in Camas, Washington, is kind of starting out the same way.
Quote: The father of a female cross-country runner has been served a criminal no-trespass order by the Camas School District. Joel Retzlaff held up a sign in protest over his daughter having to race against a boy.
But it’s not just any boy.
On September fifth, the cross country athlete finished 76th in the boys’ JV Cross Country race. But on September twenty-ninth, he magically finished first in a varsity girls’ meet against Union High. This could be the moment that the whole drama officially jumped the shark, because it’s almost impossible to argue that changing genders right smack in the middle of a season is normal or reasonable.
Joel Retzlaff held up his sign, was told no signs were allowed at games, so he folded it up and put it away and went about watching his daughters race.
But on the way to his car, he started chanting, “Keep boys out of girls’ sports.” This was apparently the straw that broke the woke camel’s diversity back. [The] school banned him from the campus for an entire year.
He was barely competitive in boys’ track, decided he was a girl mid-season, and he goes from boy zero to girl hero in just the course of a couple of weeks.
Except, of course, for this very inconvenient truth.
He stole that victory from a real girl. Retzlaff’s daughter told Outkick when asked why she, her sister, and her dad spoke out, “because if we don’t, no one else will. If we start something, maybe others will have the courage to join.”
Lawsuits anyone?
I can’t say, but since someone has already broken the seventh seal, other parents have permission to raise their hands and say they don’t like it. A message has been sent. You don’t have to put up with B-team boys outperforming your A-team girls, your daughters.
Victories they have worked very hard to earn that are being taken from them.
Is there a rebellion in the offing? I can’t say if that’s gonna happen either. The report claims that the district is woke and no one is talking. Apparently they’ve locked down the story; coaches, teachers, administrators, staff- everybody’s mum.
So the only one with balls, aside from the dad, is a guy who’s racing as a girl because he can’t compete with boys.
That’s it for today. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
