New Hampshire Republicans promised Granite Staters last week that they would keep working to make their lives easier.
In their Granite Guarantee, House Republicans make seven promises:
- Ban an income tax — forever.
- Cap your property tax.
- Cut even more red tape.
- Lower energy bills.
- Lower health care costs.
- Parents decide.
- Support public safety.
“Seven promises. In writing,” the document declares.
Democrats will keep hating Trump Republicans and anyone who disagrees with them. They will continue to obstruct federal agents from enforcing actual laws, to go after their political enemies (that includes you), allow criminals to walk your streets, to let communists take over their party and destroy the state and the Republic, and to stop, at all costs, Mr. Trump from making America great again.
These are promises Democrats could actually keep, and that’s what they’ll do. Locally, New Hampshire Democrats will not only not promise to ban income taxes, but they’ve also proposed one for the next session. I’d bet they’ve proposed more than one.
Every session, Democrats attempt to pass an income tax, inject regulatory burdens between you, your doctor, the people with whom you do business, and add new taxes and raise existing ones.
Their logic is strange, broken, and just wrong.
They think they are a better judge of how to spend money you earned than you are. And they are prepared to make the government as big as possible, also at your expense, to make sure you can’t tell anyone how wrong they are.
Republicans want the opposite. You keep more (and more) of your money. You decide who deserves it in exchange for things you actually want or need. You decide what goes into your body, and what your children need to learn.
The response to COVID might be in the review, but even if you thought it was as dangerous as they claimed, or that the vaccine was helpful, the entire progressive-led regime around it was anti-human, anti-civil rights, and decidedly fascist. Very un-American and the opposite of the Live Free or Die mentality that is responsible for the New Hampshire advantage.
Republicans continue to make New Hampshire the freest state in the hemisphere. Every other New England State is swirling in the fetid blue water of the left-wing toilet bowl. They are chasing failed states like California and New York, and Democrats in New Hampshire want that for you.

You don’t have to like Republicans to love how much better New Hampshire is than any of the states around us, but you do have to elect them to public office if you don’t want to keep the advantage and see it grow.
Democrats will wreck it all in a heartbeat, so your best bet is to abort them and their planned income tax (and all the rest of it) at the ballot box.
Republicans will do more than just make New Hampshire a resilient economic hero in the Northeast; they’ll stay out of your way and out of your business while they do it.
