Yet, what country has been overwhelming the news reports since Trump was inaugurated?  With all due respect to The Brady Bunch” “Russia, Russia, Russia”.  And Russia seems to be hellbent at reconstituting the Cold War as well.  They are turning out to be the global foes that Romney maintained they still were.

That said, if China can outrace their impending population demographic crisis over their massive “diplomacy” warfare and rapid and immense military re-modernization, they may well supplant Russia as our #1 global rival.  With Xi Jinping now all but declared “Leader for Life” as was the “revered” Mao, there will be problems afoot.
