Absolute idiocy – and it isn’t just stopping on college campuses as we are starting to see this nonsense spilling out into what used to be our common Civil Society. Look, you want to call yourself something, knock yourself out. Expecting the rest of us to go along with this absurdity to call you something that the rest of us go “huh?” and going all nutty about it? Especially when on a whim, you expect us all to keep up with your life so we’d know when we have to call you something else?
‘Pronouns matter’: Georgia college suggests ‘ne’ and ‘ve’ as gender-neutral words
The LGBT Resource Center at a Georgia college may want to pay a visit to the English department after a new controversial pamphlet lists several gender pronouns as “ne,” “ve,” and “ey.” The words are featured in a pamphlet titled “Pronouns Matter: A guide to using gender neutral pronouns” that administrators handed out in Kennesaw State University’s Student Center Tuesday, as reported by CampusReform.org.
Tammy Demel, a university spokesperson, told Fox News it was “made available by the Kennesaw State Office of Student Engagement for those in the campus community with questions or who had particular interest in this topic.”
“You will be made to care”. Wow, that’s a rather “general” answer about “particular” – and there are certainly those that will get very particular about those pronouns. And it’s all a shame because if you don’t adhere to someone else’s idea of proper living, you will find yourself in the middle of a mental midget meltdown.
It isn’t about being forced to use the “right” words – it’s about being forced into affirming that which you disagree with. But that’s why the Left TOTALLY disagrees with the complete notion of what Free Speech actually is
Demel added, “There is no policy at Kennesaw State University requiring the use of gender neutral pronouns nor for the wide distribution of these materials.”
What a crock – go ahead and ignore it and see what happens. Just because it isn’t “official” doesn’t mean it isn’t mandatory by the busybodies that will ensure that you are either part of the Progressive Language Collective or your life will be made a living hell. And doubly be sure – you will be held responsible when that special someone decides that what they were and what they became has become passe once again.
The pamphlet tells students to “understand a person’s pronouns can change; do not assume the preferred pronouns from yesterday will still apply today.” Similarly, it reminds students that “people may change their pronouns without changing their name, appearance or gender identity.” The guide suggests “making pronouns an optional part of introductions or check-ins at meetings or in class.”
You will be condemned to be held guilty. After all, there are no “absolutes” unless the Left says so – and they implement strategies to make sure that you are never sure what is “correct”, what is “right”, and what is “up or down”. After all, if everything is relative, who are you to protest?
A conjugation chart gives examples that sounds a little bit like pig Latin or gibberish. Pronoun: “Ne.” “Ne laughed. “I called nem.” “Nir eyes gleam.” “That is nirs.” “Ne likes nemself.”…The guide says information was gathered from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Student Life.
And in all this, they will denigrate you for not being “inclusive”; there is never any mention or hat tip that they are “inclusive” towards your worldview if you happen to be a traditional Normal. That’s part and parcel of this whole shindig – to make you feel that you all alone.
This is coerced speech in the duty of an ideology. You might have no idea of who or what you are – that’s your issue; don’t make it mine. Politeness to call you by your new name? Perhaps, but don’t force me into something I don’t wish to be involved with (but that’s another whole issue with the Left – you will be made to care and they will not accept that you just wish to be left alone and be on the sidelines of “their battle”. You have no right to demand of anyone else to participate in a line of reasoning that they see to be false. Making others believe something that is provably false is how totalitarian governments work (e.g., 1984: how many fingers do I have up?). Making you believe something that isn’t true is immoral.
But that IS their morality in support of the Progressive morality (such as it is today – it’ll be different tomorrow except that it still will be opposite of Normal beliefs). Yet, the Left (and its “allies”) will enforce this speech code all up and down the line – dissent is not allowed. Go ahead and reject their worldview and what happens?
They will go all out to destroy you. And like with Pam Geller right now, they will go after your family and ruin their lives. Then start in on your closest friends. That’s who they are.
