MACDONALD: The Problem With All Of It

Whether you like them or not, the hurricane season posts are a critical balance to the fearmongering agenda of the Climate Cult. More and stronger storms. That’s why we (or at least I) do these. Media bias is strong when the weather presents the opportunity, so we work to provide balance, but no one seems to have noticed what is different about 2026.

There’s no reporting because there are no hurricanes.

I wrote an article for later today exposing a serious flaw in climate modeling. Not a new observation, but the supporting source will surprise you.

So, Hurricanes.

From June to October, it’s impossible to avoid the drama. Every little cell becomes an object of worry. An opportunity to peddle the lies told by climate models about how much worse the weather is getting thanks to your prolonged effort to enjoy the comforts of western civilization. Tropical storms and hurricanes dominate the news, but there haven’t been any in 2026. Sorry. Tropical Storm Arthur managed to reach 40 mph for a day.

From June 17th to June 18th, Arthur rained on the Texas coast with so little impact that no one reported it except the locals.

Nothing else has happened. No tropical storms, so no hurricanes. Not today, not for the next week.

It is fair to say that while July is a hot month, late August and early September are the meat and potatoes of hurricane season. We’re not there yet, but the quiet start is so boring that the media has obsessed over heat waves in Europe.

And air conditioning.

There are reports of thousands of Europeans dying from the heat because they sacrificed the conveniences Western civilization had earned to their climate gods.

AC is more than a privilege; it is reserved for the elite and rare circumstances. An unhealthy attitude since heat isn’t the only thing that kills when it gets hot. People tend to be more violent as the temperature rises, especially stabby people in stabby places. One might argue that air conditioning reduces the carbon footprint of security services and the investigative emissions of state resources assigned to address assault and murder.

Discomfort is, of course, the result of green energy commitments. While China is opening dirty coal plants and burning everything in sight to feed its industrial complexes, Europe and its beta-male moles in America have been pushing energy solutions that can’t meet today’s demand.

The future looks a lot like the second or third world or, actually, modern-day Europe, which is roasting its citizens for no particularly good reason.

Sure, they can blame climate change on the heat, but they won’t blame China, India, or Africa, which are emitting as fast as they can, so they might enjoy… Air Conditioning and other modern conveniences like indoor plumbing, electricity, and clean water, no rolling blackouts. Things Californians are being told they need to accept.

The problem with all of it, of course, is Communists. It’s the Democrat Socialists who have done the most damage to human flourishing. They can’t help themselves. The utopia they promise is impossible without rationing or resource starvation, and if they don’t get you used to it, force you to wear the mantle as some moral imperative, you might revolt when the happy day arrives.

A day that looks a lot like Europe today. Investigated crimes and rapes that are your fault (you racist) and a lack of basic necessities, which, by the way, the new aristocracy has in abundance. And no griping about that either, because they made that clear as well. Jet-setting to climate conferences and all those mansion emissions are because someone has to be in a position to take everything from you for the good of… well… themselves.
