Ro Khanna is another communist “rich kid” (even though he’s not a kid), a Democratic Party Marxist worth over 230 million. The fallout from ‘The Revolution’ he desires won’t hurt him or his family. They are financially inoculated as long as they pull for team blue. Che shirts, hammer and sickle. That makes him an insufferable ass (like Hasan Piker), allowing him to say the dumbest things to which his side will nod, applaud, and perhaps even throw him a People’s Parade.
Here’s an example.
Problem one. If the Biden Administration had followed/enforced the laws that Congress passed, the Trump Administration wouldn’t have had to arrest them, process them, and deport them. What Biden did cost taxpayers billions, and as we’ve discovered, likely trillions more in fraud. Removing them costs money and disrupts lives, but it will cost a lot less in the long run, and IT’S THE LAW, ASSHOLE.
That is not, however, Khanna’s biggest goof. If immigration laws are a violation of human rights, then every nation on the planet is guilty. There are no sovereign countries on Earth that completely lack immigration laws or do not police (or at least claim to control) their borders. Every recognized sovereign state maintains some form of immigration regulations, border sovereignty, and legal framework for entry, residency, and citizenship—even if enforcement varies widely.
There are more than a few that are much less polite about the location, detention, incarceration, or expulsion process. Behavior that might actually rise to claims of human rights violations. But these foreign nations are, and we can quote Democrats on this, sovereign and free to be who they are as a state.
Having impugned every sovereign state on the planet, Khanna might do better by way of apology by claiming the US is actually guilty of cultural appropriation. That’ll play well with his idiot base (mostly rich white kids and former suburban moms who transitioned to AWFLs). Inner city folks, who still vote democrat despite how bad it is for them, are less inclined to buy into the Marxist schtick but also more likely to have suffered at the hands of the Dem Party’s open-border policy. Legal immigrant communities are similarly placed. But the activists who leverage the welfare machine as an apology for deliberately trapping them in such dire circumstances use the handouts to buy votes.
You need that money, and this is what your paymasters want.
And what might the Ro Khanna’s of the world replace anything with? Social workers? Well, if they had their way and no one could stop them, nationalized policing. Jackbooted stormtroopers who would answer to a Federal overseer. No more local or county cops they can’t control. Oh, and they’d close the border to make sure no one could get in without them knowing or leave without their permission.
Ironic, that.
