It’s already common knowledge that Rosenwald is retiring from the senate, and the enemy camp has selected Telerski to be her replacement. Queen Sharon called her and Ruth Ward up to her podium to be recognized and receive clocks as retirement gifts and address the rest of the senate. I expected the usual themes a senior citizen would raise, like wanting more family time, particularly with grandchildren, and so on. What I did not expect was her announcement of plans to move to Dover, another trashy blue city that can’t elect anyone good to either chamber. In fact, with Dinosaur D’Allesandro finally retired, Watters (75) is the OLDEST and longest-serving member of the enemy camp. That’s multiple things he has in common with Alderman Dowd, but I digress.
It’s unknown (to me) if Rosenwald has already signed a purchase agreement or rental agreement on a place in Dover, but what about selling her current home in snooty Ward 3? It’s at 101 Wellington and just 0.2 miles from Chez Donkness at 4 Rockland. Before anyone accuses me of doxxing Rosenwald or her mayor, keep in mind that property records are public records and the picture is from her property card.

According to Vision Government Solutions, Chez Rosenwald is valued at $757,800, though Laurie Ortolano, another Ward 3 resident, would have a more competent and reliable appraisal supported by sound data. A seller’s agent commission can vary, but a small percent of a number close to 7 figures is a good chunk of change. Seeing that Rosenwald is a “money person,” meaning that she’s a member of Senate Finance and Ways & Means, 2 of the 3 money committees, she’s likely to agree that hiring a skilled seller’s agent is in her best interest. Let’s review a few suggestions, in order of proximity to 101 Wellington.
Amanda Reichert, a former Ward 3 rep candidate who was eliminated in the 2020 primary, would have all the intimate details of that part of the city. Ward 5 Alderman Paula Johnson is also a realtor and served on the school board until being removed in 2023 by 14 “emergency Democrat votes” in a clown show recount. Paula would be good at answering buyers’ questions about the future of the schools serving Ward 3. 2023 Ward 7 alderman candidate Sandra Ziehm is also a realtor and former school board member. She is presumably just as good a choice as Paula Johnson.
Seeing that it’s certainly not necessary for a seller to hire a local agent, let’s consider a few other choices. There are Reps Diane Kelley and Vanessa Sheehan, who are out west, but good people. Vanessa sold Ed Decatur’s Ward 6 home on Kinsley St. Vanessa is no dummy because Ed is now HER constituent in Milford. Nashua’s loss and Milford’s gain in terms of the quality of voters on the voter list. There are other rep realtors out there, like Manchester’s Mark Warden of Porcupine Realty, who can give Rosenwald directions to The Shell in nearby (to Dover) Rollinsford. There’s also Attorney/Rep Calvin Beaulier, who is a realtor, though he’s way up north. There’s ENEMY OF 91A Rep Thackston, but he’s way out west, near Vermont.
Being a rep is certainly not a requirement in choosing a realtor, and let’s be clear that I am NOT saving the best for last, but I do have another local rep to mention. Though an astute Ward 3 denizen has mentioned Ann Frigard as the “real estate godmother of Ward 3,” if the realtor must be both a rep and part of the enemy camp, then it’s narrowed down to Comrade Mrs Newman.

No matter who becomes the seller’s agent, let’s hope that the sale brings blue Ward 3 some decent voters who will vote in EVERY election and NEVER vote blue.
