I was at a meeting last week in Manchester and on the wall where we were meeting was this simple question:
What if Government didn’t do it?
In other words, what if Government had never taken up to do a certain task (or set of them)? I’d be interested to see what you think.
Then let me ask what could be a rather open ended question:
Why should Government (with a nod to de Tocqueville) be doing it?
