The number of private firearms in the United States continues to soar. According to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (ATF) figures just released, the number of firearms added to the private stock in 2015 was 12,945,416…The 2015 numbers bring the total number of private firearms in the United States to 388.5 million…

And if you guesstimate for 2016 (which includes the Hillary threat) and thus far for 2017, we’re probably well over 400 million.
