The Dems’ “don’t follow orders” narrative skeleton has started to put on some meat. And who cares if it takes down Sen. Mark Kelley (the only member of the sedition’s six who might face a military trial). In fact, trying to send the very message the left wants active to internalize.
We will be back in power someday. Maybe soon. And what matters is whether we think you followed an illegal order.

“The View” co-host Joy Behar invoked the Nazi Nuremberg trials on Tuesday in her warning to service members who may be following “illegal orders” from the Trump administration. …
“It’s about the Nuremberg trials of the Nazis after World War II — and following orders is not a defense. So these soldiers have to pay attention,” she warned.
And,
Psaki: “What do you think the consequences should be for people who are abiding by following these steps from the Commander In Chief?”
Kirschner: “They’re following unlawful commands from Donald Trump. And if you’re committing offenses and your defense is going to be ‘I was just following orders’ — You know, that didn’t work out so well at Nuremberg.”
“When the rule of law comes back into the light of day, that will have to be tackled. They’ll have to be held accountable for those abuses.”
Lather, rinse, repeat.
Anyone not in the military, and that’s a lot of Democrats, will keep spinning this narrative all the way to the midterms. They’ve even framed any effort to go after Kelly as illegal and subject to the light of day when rule of law comes back.
How do you compete with that messaging? Well, shortly after the seditious six started getting heat, the response was that they didn’t know of any illegal orders. The Democrats also have a terrble record on rule of law. Awful. Abysmal. The entire justice system is rigged, just ask Iryna Zarutska, Bethany MaGee, or any of the victims of the unvetted third-world child rapists Biden/Harris fast walked across the border.
Trafficked children, drugs, Chinese spy balloons, Joe’s auto-pen pardons, and the mystery of who was running the country.
I don’t know who has the bandwidth, but anytime a dem starts puffing that illegal orders smoke or talks about the return of the rule of law, there ought ot be an army of influencers who answer back with an endless stream of crap Democrats do or did that is illegal or demonstrates how laws are for little people who vote for their political opponents.
The problem for them, of course, is that they can’t follow legal orders, and to the best of everyone’s knowledge, those are the only sort Trump has issued. But will America be convinced otherwise?
