This from US Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) at the 2014 NRA annual meeting, according to The Corner:
“I know from my experience as a prosecutor that it’s important to make sure we enforce the laws on the books, and that we go after and prosecute the bad guys,” she said. She was the first speaker to mention the issue that tends to get overtaken by gun-control laws after shooting incidents, declaring she’s focusing on efforts ”to improve our nation’s mental health system, and helping those in crisis get treatment… I know we share a strong commitment to preserving our Second Amendment rights.”
Kelly, can you do that and see that our present immigration laws are enforced well? You know, the ones you promised to enforce during your campaign? And now want to ignore by providing Amnesty to those that broke those same laws? After all, we don’t want to be like Obama and picking and choosing which ones to enforce (or not), right?
