Can’t you all even get the narrative right?
The Left is trying to redefine the language again so that OTHERS must supply another’s needs (classic “according to their needs” mantra) – this translates into “I demand that you pay for me”. Once again, the Progressives are all willing to minimize the Constitutional meaning and power and replace it with their ideological Dystopia. Which is shone by the folks in the video – watch especially for the lady in the blue jacket who is against the Green’s First Amendment Rights but argues for her own First Amendment Right without recognizing her hypocrisy.
Again, this is about Obama trashing the First Amendment Right of the individuals that own and run a company. It is the Left “progressing” to more completely secularize the entire society so that “free expression of religion” is reduced to “freedom to worship – but only in your house of worship and not in the public square”. This is Saul Alinsky writ large to demonize and shame those of faith.
The Greens, who solely own Hobby Lobby, do not believe in abortion and think it a grave moral wrong. Further, to supply abortifacients to their employees against their manifestation of their religious beliefs is being even more complicit that moral wrong doing: the taking of a life. This is NOT forcing a religion or religious views upon their employees – there is no “Article of Faith” that must be signed to work at Hobby Lobby and their employees can believe (or not) in what their own individual conscience requires. Their employees are free to purchase those items, if they wish, using their own funds.
They simply do not wish Government to demand that they hang up their First Amendment Right when they leave their homes and going to the office. They simply want their full Constitutional Right to be left alone and not infringed by Government.
