My take on commenter eastergrass as relayed to one of our more prolific commenters lately, Radical Moderate, was this:
No, s/he is constitutionally unable to do so, Rad. He plays the edges of the debate simply because the center of it scares him to the core. He understands the emotion but not the logic – and knows it. He knows that he is incapable of debating those that don’t veer and follow him down the ratholes in which he so delights.
But compared to the Democrat candidate, Mike “Fox News does nothing but tell lies and mistruths” Dickinson, that Sean Hannity debates here, eastergrass is a freaking genius! I will admit, he can, at the least, string a coherent sentence or two together. This one? Not at all:
Absolutely – take away his talking points and the only one he’d have left is on the top of his shoulders.
