Official rate: Drop from 7.0 to 6.7%
More accurate measure: 13.1% (U6)
only 74,000 new jobs created (expected: 200,000)
525,000 workers have dropped out of the workforce, artificially decreasing the unemployment rate
Labor participation rate dropped to 62.8% (back to Jimmy Carter days)
