“U.S. debt jumped a record $328 billion on Thursday…”

by

… the first day the federal government was able to borrow money under the deal President Obama and Congress sealed this week.

The debt now equals $17.075 trillion, according to figures the Treasury Department posted online on Friday.”

Thank you, Kelly, Carol, Annie, and Jeanne.  That would be US Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), US Congressman Carol Shea-Porter US Congressman (D-NH), Annie Kuster (D-NH), and US Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH).  Nice to see you have suspended the US Constitution in now letting the President have a blank check.

Sidenote: that would be Article 1 Section 8:

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow money on the credit of the United States;

You know, I keep hearing from the Feminists that men ought to go home and leave the governing.  All I see is four NH women all too willing to put more debt on the Nation’s credit card (do I really have to trot out that old joke?).  Now, that’s not to say a whole bunch of men didn’t do the same – but don’t EVER try to tell me that women can govern better than men when you go and do the exact same thing.

Our grandkids will curse your names.
