“The Union Leader came to the defense of Jim Rubens this week. The NHGOP did not”

That was from this week’s Political Standing.  Pindell’s statement evokes a question:

Are we about to the same thing that happened to Jim Coburn and Joe Kenny during their runs for NH Gov?

Both were honorable men but got, from my view, little support from the party.  Yes, part of Kenney’s problem was not him but his campaign manager (who managed to alienate many activists that otherwise might have been convinced to help out).

So, do the Five Families have another anointed waiting in the wings?
