Yesterday I was half-listening to the TV while surfing but when a commercial for the National Guard played twice, the second time I listened better. The actor in the commercial said that the reason he signed up and his purpose was for:
- Country
- Community
- Family
A throw away line? Funny, I used to think it is was God, Family, and Country.
Is it me, or does this flip the traditional Priorities upside down? Highest allegiance is now to Country? On purpose? When did this happen – five years ago?
