If the purpose of Govt is to legislate behavior, this would be OK with you, right NH State Rep Lee Webb?

OK, once in a while, it’s OK to chain these posts along, eh?  Like what I highlighted what Lee said (in the last post):

Sidenote: just like NH State Representative Lee Leigh Webb who recently summed up his (and the Democratic and Progressive philosophy):

The role of government is to legislate behavior

Once again, in a single sentence, we see the underlying mantra of the totalitarianism that is the Progressive Democrat agenda: You WILL do what we tell you to do – and we are redefining “freedom” such that you still think you have some.

So, I take it he’d be perfectly happy if our national government was to do this to we Citizens, right?  This isn’t Totalitarianism, right?  Isn’t this just “legislating behavior” on the part of the Chinese Communists?  From Instapundit:

“China is pushing ahead with a sweeping plan to move 250 million rural residents into newly constructed towns and cities over the next dozen years…”

Isn’t that “legislating behavior”, Rep. Webb?  And if not, how not?  That could never happen here, right Rep Webb?

Oh Wait!  It is already in process….via the Federal Government’s “Sustainable Communities Initiative” (thank you HUD, DOT, and EPA).

So, this is “freedom” to you, Rep. Webb?
