A Banned American Flag and UNH Doubles Down on Diversity

Here’s my segment with Rich Girard, as promised. Rich and I begin (very) briefly with bake sales as a constitutional question then move on to the Londonderry High School Flag ban incident. John Lyscars calls in with an update before we continue with UNH’s all-in commitment to the Diversity Cult with their Sept. 8th report, “Developing … Read more

Londonderry, NH High School Tries to Ban the American Flag…

Londonderry Pep-rally letter
Londonderry Pep-rally letter…more below the fold

Just before my segment on the Girard at Large radio show this morning Rich reported on a letter sent to parents of High School students in Londonderry, New Hampshire. The missive, a printed affair with pictures and the school principles name on it, went out to remind everyone fn the proper decorum for the upcoming pep rally which included a ban on the American Flag.

4. NO use of the American flag. Do not wear/carry/present the American flag on the floor.

Any athletes in violation will be reported to their coach by administration.

Ben Shapiro: Do Not Blame the Freest Most Civil Society in the History of Planet Earth…

Daily-Caller-Ben-Shapiro-e1505077890854Ben Shapiro spoke at Berkeley without incident probably because of the massive police presence with engagement orders to pepper spray and arrest anyone who got out of hand.

You’ll find plenty of snippet videos online and I’ve linked the entire thing below but I wanted to share this bit (c/o LI) where Mr. Shaprio explains Alt-Right and a few other important points we should understand and take to heart (5 min.).

Palate Cleanser – this is magnificent!

I love watching these Rube Goldberg machine setups in action.  However, there is SO much going on, you have to hit the gear (lower right corner of the video) and slow the video down.  Even at 75% speed, there’s an awful lot going on. (H/T: Sploid)

Data Point – Record taxes through August 2017

Running Government beyond our means?  The kicker: “At the same time that the federal government was collecting a record $2,966,172,000,000 in tax revenues, it was spending $3,639,882,000,000—and, thus, running a deficit of $673,711,000,000.” Yet, a deal was made last week to put no limit on the Debt Ceiling – the first day after the bill was … Read more

Notable Quote – Derek Hunter

Derek HunterOn Rights and The Federal Government’s Ambassador to New Hampshire Jeanne Shaheen’s belief that Government CAN and should “bestow” a new Right upon its subjects citizens:

Did you realize you have a right to not be offended? That you have a right to other people’s property and their labor? Were you unaware that you, as a citizen, have the same rights in the United States of America as an illegal alien? These are among the newly declared “rights” Democrats have bestowed on people through the power of simply saying they exist. The problem is this concept is fundamentally un-American.  Our rights as Americans are not granted to us by the government. Our government is empowered by us on the condition it does not infringe upon the rights with which we were born.

Time to Ask Your Legislators to Protect Free Speech in the UNH System

militant-snowflakeThe recently released UNH Interim Report Presidential Task Force on Campus Climate is not about the weather, but it does involve snowflakes.

Let me drop one on your tongue so you can get a taste.

“UNH must develop a sustainable inclusive campus climate and make diversity and inclusion integral to a 21st-century education where we are committed to each of our students becoming good global citizens.”

Here’s another one.

“As UNH continues to move away from the mindset of diversity as ‘add on,’ we are developing the understanding that diversity and inclusion are critical threads woven consistently throughout the entire fabric of UNH. By doing so we ensure that diversity/inclusive excellence and pluralism are valued and presented as institutional priorities that will be addressed in all aspects of the life of the University,”

Legislative service request season is upon us. Your legislators are proposing bills as you read this. Now is the time to take steps to protect students right to free speech and association on campus before this gets fully implemented.

Bernie Sanders: “If we expanded Medicaid [to] everybody…we would bankrupt the nation.”

Bernie Sanders Communist FistJeanne Shaheen probably isn’t worried about her support of Bernie Sanders 2017 Medicaid for everyone plan, but Bernie Sanders was–30 years ago.

Back in 1987, a much younger Bernie Sanders apparently had that sense too. He warned that expanding Medicaid, the jointly run federal-state health care program for the poor and disabled, to everyone in the country would “bankrupt the nation.”

US Senator Jeanne Shaheen – goes full Socialist and anti-Constitution in one breath: Single Payer healthcare

Jeanne Shaheen Wicked Witch

So Jeanne Shaheen shows:

  • Her contempt for the US Constitution
  • Her complete lack of qualification to be a US Senator  due to not knowing what a Right is
  • Her complete willingness to, yet again, make taxpayers further into indentured servants
  • And like the best that Progressives can show – NEVER once has she said ANYTHING about how Government would pay for Single Payer Healthcare

To wit:

For the first time, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen supported single-payer legislation, signing on Wednesday as a co-sponsor of Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All Act of 2017. “I support the Medicare for All Act because I believe that health care should be a fundamental right in this country,” Shaheen said.
