What Did NH Democrats Know About Jeff Woodburn and When Did They Know It?

Pro-rape Democrats and sexual-assaultYesterday, when news broke that Democrat State Sen. Jeffy ‘Bumpstock’ Woodburn had been arrested for sexual and domestic assault, I observed two things in particular.

First, State Democrat Party Chair Ray Buckley was quick to announce/denounce, which is way out of character. And second,

Who knew what before it became a liability?

The State Republican Party want’s to know that too.

WMUR reports that,

The state Republican Party wants to know what the Democratic state senators and their staffers knew and when they knew it regarding the domestic violence-related charges against Senate Democratic Leader Jeff Woodburn.

NHGOP Chairman Wayne MacDonald said Friday questions were raised by the state Democratic Party’s release of a statement calling on Woodburn to resign about 15 minutes before the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office issued its news release officially announcing, and detailing, the charges against Woodburn.

This is a great question, especially now that we’ve seen the accusations.

From the NH AG’s office.

Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces the arrest today of Jeffrey R. Woodburn (age 53) of Whitefield, New Hampshire on several class A misdemeanor charges. Those charges consist of:

  • Two counts of simple assault (RSA 631:2-a) charging Mr. Woodburn with causing unprivileged physical contact to the adult female victim by: (1) throwing a cup of water in her face and then throwing the empty cup at her as well, striking her in the face on August 10, 2017; and (2) striking the victim in the stomach with his hand on December 24 , 2017.
  • Two counts of simple assault (RSA 631:2-a) charging Mr. Woodburn with causing bodily injury to the adult female victim by: (1) biting the victim on her left hand, resulting in bruising on December 15, 2017; and (2) biting the victim on her right forearm, resulting in bruising, on or between June 9, 2018 and June 10, 2018.
  • Two counts of domestic violence (RSA 631:2-b) charging Mr. Woodburn with causing bodily injury to the adult female victim, an intimate partner as defined in RSA 631:2-b,III(b), by use of physical force, by: (1) biting the victim on her left hand, resulting in bruising on December 15, 2017; and (2) biting the victim on her right forearm, resulting in bruising, on or between June 9, 2018 and June 10, 2018.
  • Two counts of criminal mischief (RSA 634:2) charging Mr. Woodburn with causing damage to the property of the adult female victim by: (1) kicking the door of her clothes dryer, causing it to be broken away from the dryer housing, having no right to do so nor any reasonable basis for belief of having such a right, on August 10, 2017; and (2) kicking in the locked door to the victim’s home which damaged the door and door casing, having no right to do so nor any reasonable basis for belief of having such a right, on December 24, 2017.

Mr. Woodburn is scheduled to be arraigned in the 1st Circuit Court-District Division-Lancaster on August 20, 2018, at 10:30 a.m.

I know, Russians, Right?

[NHGOP Chairman] MacDonald said, “Many questions remain as to how the state Democratic Party was able to break the news of Senator Woodburn’s charges before the attorney general or any media outlet. The public has the right to know what Senator Woodburn’s colleagues knew about his disturbing actions and when they knew it. Granite Staters deserve nothing less.

“This whole development is looking more and more like a cover-up, and we must remain vigilant in our pursuit of the truth.”

In a long New Hampshire tradition of hiding the dirty laundry (at least on Democrats) I predict we will learn nothing of value. But we give credit where it is due. Excellent job Wayne MacDonald. If nothing else you have demanded transparency in the name of the people and kept the story in the news cycle for at least one more day.

My advice, not that you’ll take it, is to stomp on the gas. Woodburn’s got female Democrat colleagues in the Senate one of whom is favored to win a Democrat primary for Governor. What did she know? And what about the rest of the #MeToo parrots squawking in the Democrat caucus chorus?

I’m sure they’ve all been instructed to keep quiet.

I expect the New Hampshire media will avoid asking uncomfortable questions. That doesn’t mean we should play along.

What did Molly Kelly know and if she says nothing then what does that say about how observant a governor she might be should she get the opportunity to challenge Gov. Sununu this November?
